So I was wondering if anyone else is biased against a gender with certain/all breeds of dragons on the site.
Personally I like females more than males in all breeds and a big reason for it is because the females tend to have nicer poses in my opinion. I also think they look nicer.
For example:
female imperial: pose is in flight, interesting pose and very appealing curves
male imperial: is just standing there....
Female ridgeback: interesting pose, looks like she is just taking flight
male ridgeback: just standing there....also...he has a big nose... lol
Female pearlcatcher: sitting in a cute delicate pose
Male pearlcatcher: just standing there....
I also find the female fae has a more balanced pose than the male and hence like that pose more than the male as well.
So, does anyone else prefer one gender of dragon over the other? what breeds in specific? why?

Big evil logical meanieface
I tend to openly like both genders of every dragon breed available. I may like a certain gender a little more than the other, but I still like both. I love Ridgeback males (even with that silly, long nose horn of theirs. I find it weirdly charming.), but the females are still cool.
However. I...I have a hard time liking Tundra females. At all. They're so ugly, damn it. They kinda look like they're going through some form of weird balding. The beard looks awkward. Their design bothers me. I love my Rosilise for her rich brown color, but auuughh.
I think the prettiest female Tundras tend to be the ones with icy colorations. Pale blue, white, etc. It's flattering for their design, and makes them actually look like what the breed intended instead of gawky. Either that or extremely dark colors, like obsidian, black, shadow, etc. Anything else looks abysmal to me.

Me too I am very biased depending on gender for certain breeds!
Male Tundras? My lair could be filled with them and I'd be a happy kitten.
Female Tundras? HOLY ARCANIST TAKE IT AWAY.

Ryha I have noticed the same thing, it does kind of stand out. The art is beautiful and amazing and I really like that the dragon's builds themselves aren't too stereotypical, like there is very little difference in the guardian breed and the female isn't weaker looking. I like that a lot.
But as you said the poses have made me wonder when I've been looking at my dragons in the lair...

I prefer male Spiral and Tundras.
I can't even really word why xD
I am not a huge Tundra Lover in general, but I really love the Tundra Hatchlings.
I prefer female Pearlcatchers, Imperials and Wildclaws.
It's not always the dynamic of the pose, I guess it's just a vibe thing.
I really hope Staralfur is Spiral soon xD

I prefer...
Female guardians because they don't look like they're stepping on their tail...
Male faes because there is seriously something derped in the head/neck areas of females.
Male spirals, the full front of the eyes is more appealing to me.
Female ridgebacks because they're not Pinocchio.
Male tundras because their pose, females are...just standing there.
Female imps again because of pose, they're so much more interesting.
Uh...thats all I can think of atm.
