We have updated the tooltips for [b]skin and accent items[/b]! These will now automatically display more consistent, accurate, and up-to-date information. [size=5]Artist Attributions[/size] If a skin or accent item has a [b]userid[/b] tied to its record in our internal database, that information will now [b]show up on its own line[/b] below the item description. Since this information is fetched dynamically, the username will reflect the artist's [i]current[/i] username, not the username the artist had at the time the skin or accent was created. To avoid confusion, the artist's userid will also display next to the username. [code]Designed by USERNAME (#USERID)[/code] At the time of this update, all skin and accent items classified as a "player skin" should have this information. Linking skins to userids was part of the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/ann/3334315#post_3334315]Skin & Accent System Revamp[/url] launched in 2024. To avoid possible bugs, we will not display an artist name if the system is unable to locate a user associated with the stored userid. Site skins, on the other hand, have not yet been linked to artist userids yet. Depending on how this update performs, we may begin linking this data in the future. You can still find the artist's hardcoded username within the item description of these items. [size=5]Descriptions[/size] If a skin or accent item is classified as a "player skin", the item description will no longer include a hardcoded player name. This is so we can continue to attribute artists and to indicate which site skins are linked to which holidays. The changes above are non-destructive. In other words, we are not touching the existing data linked to these records. When using the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/game-database/items/skins]Game Database[/url] to search for skins and accents, you can still search for text within the old hardcoded item descriptions - including old usernames. That said, we may clean up that old description data in the future and we recommend making use of the Game Database's "By Player" field when searching player skins. [size=5]Coliseum Skin Tooltips[/size] This update does not change how tooltips display in the [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/coliseum]Coliseum[/url] or any other legacy section of the site. This may change in a future QoL update. Instead, the username will be fetched dynamically and printed below the description on its own line.
