Gene Previews
This post will be updated with new gene previews every Monday through Friday until the Chorus dragons are released (TBA).

07-30-26: New Gene - Tertiary Vitrail

Three Chorus adult dragons in green, purple, and deep blue previewing the Vitrail gene. This gene gives the dragon a shimmery and stained-glass panel like appearance with four petal accent shapes and color flecks throughout. The green dragon has pink, cream, and light green accents. The purple dragon has a light green at the base of their necks, with blue, pink, and almost yellow accent colors. The blue dragon is more blue in body with light blue accents and red flowers, with cream colored secondary accented by red flowers and pink and green flecks.

07-31-26: Parallel Genes - Primary Caterpillar, Secondary Larvae

Three Chorus adult dragons in red, purple, and orange, previewing the caterpillar and larvae genes. These genes apply a segmented pattern with large dark spots and small spots with pops of vibrant, contrasting color.

08-03-2026: Parallel Genes - Primary Checkers, Secondary Chess

All dragons pictured have bodies that consist of dark and light squares in a checkerboard pattern. All secondaries repeat the square pattern, but loosely and the far ends of their secondary leaf-like appendages have dark horizontal stripes, light-thick-light. From left to right, the Chorus adult dragons have a green belly with teal flanks and a blue secondary; a pink belly with mauve flanks and a red secondary; a light tan belly with brown flanks and cream secondary.

08-04-26: New Gene - Tertiary Bark

All dragons pictured have tertiary that resembles bark climbing up their three necks and down their body. From left to right, the first dragon is a deep blue primary and secondary with a brown Bark tertiary. The second dragon is yellow and grey with a rusty orange tertiary. The third dragon is a brown dragon with tan secondary and a black tertiary with pale purple accents along the edges.

08-05-26: Parallel Gene - Candlelight!

All dragons pictured are hydra inspired with three heads and have a tertiary gene that places lit spectral appearing candles on the horns of each head as well as a matching aura of magical flames. From left to right, the first dragon black and the tertiary are black candles with deep purple-pink flames. The second is a blue-green dragon with a deep blue secondary and flaxen candles with white magical flames. The third dragon is red with pale blue candles and pale blue magical flames.

08-06-2026: New Primary & Secondary Genes - Begonia & Rex!

All dragons pictured are hydra inspired with three heads and have primary and secondary genes that give their bodies a gradient color that matches the organic zig zag design framing their necks and underbelly area. The primary color is doubled as scale like spots that continue through the gradient area. The secondary gives their back already leaf like ridges a definite leaf or petal appearance with a thick dark outline on the edges. From left to right, the first dragon is a slate-brown with orange accent colors and a brown and blue secondary. The second dragon is cream colored with lavender accent colors for the primary and the secondary is lavender with cream accents. The third dragon is a deep blue-green with bright minty green accents on the primary and the secondary is a matching minty green with purple-pink accent colors.

08-07-2026: Parallel Tertiary Gene - Chitin!

All dragons pictured are hydra inspired with three heads and have the tertiary gene chitin, which gives their wings and limbs an armored and insectoid appearance. From left to right, the first dragon is deep blue with a lighter blue belly and a bright cyan chitin. The second dragon is golden yellow with a more saturated golden yellow belly and an orange chitin. The third dragon is a deep pink with a bright pink belly and purple chitin.
