i used to have a stat before the ui update that showed the amount of eggs discarded. i know that stat was from the very early fr days, when eggs could go bad if you didnt incubate them in time, but obviously for me it's at zero because i wasnt around for that LOL
anyways i looked at my stats for something completely unrelated and realized it was gone!
i understand why since again, it was for a long since removed feature, but i weirdly kind of miss it? it felt like getting to see a piece of fr history i wasnt on the site to see.
is anyone else missing this stat? and if anyone was around to have eggs that you did need to discard, is the stat still there for you?

It's still visible for me, I lost 2 eggs in the first couple months of FR. Maybe it's hidden for players who will only ever have zero? I hope it's not going away for everyone, it's part of my account history as a 2013 player!

Why can't eggs be discarded anymore?! I'm paranoid I'm gonna nest the wrong dragons together and then I'll have no choice but to grow them. There's no way to lock a couple of dragons together, is there? I remember a game like Pony Island, another pet site, that allowed two ponies to marry so misclicks wouldn't happen.

In the earlier days of the website there was a mechanic called egg rot. Basically if you didn't incubate a nest, some (or all) of the eggs would quite literally die and need to be discarded. It upset a lot of players and put a lot of stress on people who weren't able to log in every day/people who forgot to incubate their nests, so it was removed.[/center]
