Adding my 2 cents that it’s a downgrade to not be able to see the flash sale tab at a glance. Having to click an extra button to see where it is kinda sucks.

The filters and dropdowns are nice though!

Using the extra-large screen layout with automatic layout option turned on. The new marketplace layout rules, being able to see 3 columns by taking advantage of the screen's extra width allows me to see much more items more easily. Especially with the limited time/amount of items being sold, having more on screen with no scrolling involved is really helpful. I wanted to suggest doing the same 3-columns layout for the Grand Exchange shops, who currently are getting stretched out like crazy with a lot of empty space. This would be great for shops like Arvell's or Glass & Gloss', who have a LOT item variety they offer and would therefore allow players with screens large enough to see more at once [emoji=guardian happy size=1]

Just popping in to say I would still love an official low-contrast site theme at some point. :") Marketplace update looks nice, though.

I'm starting to suspect that page widths are inconsistent when viewing on mobile (I don't think layout choice matters, but I use the desktop one). I did try adjusting the viewport and my browser settings, but couldn't figure it out. I noticed that some pages like the clan profile and forum pages fit fine but some pages like gathering may be a little too wide (i.e. when fully zoomed out after zooming in, you can still horizontally scroll the pages).

One nother thing, some forum posts' text may be displayed at different sizes despite using the default size.

The white border around number notifications (like in the Trading Post) is really hard on the eyes! It makes everything look pixelated.

Uhhh what is going on with the buttons? Why are the buttons outlined all of a sudden? It makes it look like I've enabled keyboard mode for navigation (I can't remember what it's called), it's very jarring and confusing. It's only appearing on Firefox.

Anybody else seeing this or did I actually enable something by accident

I wonder if there is something about the new reduced animation functionality that interacts weirdly with firefox? It does remind me of when I test sites at work with JAWS screen readers. It's present for me on the dark mode theme and the standard site theme. I tested a few display settings and it doesn't seem to be affected by anything I can do on the user side.

Just in case it's missed, here's an update on the Firefox border bug.

TLDR: This appears to be related to how Firefox renders links styled as buttons that use special (but not uncommon) CSS tricks to render interior borders. Since Firefox is not rendering the HTML the same way other browsers, we're waiting to see if they fix it rather than dedicating time to a specific Firefox-only fix.

While this change does coincide with the launch of our new "Reduce Animation" setting, we believe it's totally unrelated.

I think it might be caused by the latest Firefox update because I was not having it prior to Firefox updating

Settings Page Changelog

When the responsive redesign launched, it came with a complete rewrite of the Settings page. For the most part, this was a 1-to-1 functional recreation of the old page, but a few changes and fixes were introduced without a proper changelog or mention.

This belated post is intended to fix that with a list of notable (but not exhaustive) changes:

  1. You must now include at least 1 letter when changing your username. This has been a requirement for newly created accounts for a while, but a bug with the old settings page didn’t follow the same ruleset.
  2. You can now view your recent session data. This can be used to determine if your account was recently accessed on a different device or browser. Please note that session data may be a little confusing - it’s perfectly normal to see multiple session records if you use multiple devices or browsers.
  3. Settings that used to be only accessible on individual settings pages (World Map, Hoard, Dragon Profiles) are now included in the main Settings page. We intend for this hub to eventually be a one stop location for all settings.
  4. The Change Avatar modal was completely rewritten to use our newer “Dragon Picker” tool for easier filtering and previewing of your dragons as avatars.
  5. Block List and Forum Subscription pages have been completely rewritten to make it easier to remove batches of records all at once.
  6. Email Address, Name, and Birthdate are redacted on the main settings page to avoid accidentally revealing personal information.
  7. Unlike the old Forum Signature edit page, which relied on a preview button, your current saved forum signature is displayed at the top of the form.
  8. Stats are now found on a separate page and include a new stat: Flight Changes count.
