i had a dream that flightrising released a new breed on their 12th anniversary, it was a one legged rodent with a type of antenna on it's head. no dragon features besides the leg, just a normal hamster

in the dream, they were a modern breed released right after cirrus, the reasoning for the timing was "we ended up delaying the cirrus so much that the team has finished making another breed while they were in production!"
right after i saw them, i sent a picture to my friend and said "wow, i can finally make a fandragon of [character we associate with hamsters] !!!", which is literally how i react to every single breed release LMADOPGKSJIOGJSDKGS
anyway, after sketching that thing, i wanted to try making an actual modern rodent :D!! i adhered to the general rule of one head, four legs, two wings and a tail, even though they're probably too rodent-like to fit with the other moderns
while drawing them, i had the big brain idea of having them be arcane-born, since they're rodents and arcane is known for having scientists... maybe someone has been doing some unethical experiments with poor little rats?? or a group of rodents chewed on someone's breed change scroll and this was the outcome
anyway, having them be arcane makes me able to find a lore reason for that horn-antenna-thing! it gives them psychic powers that makes them able to levitate themselves (kinda like my little pony's unicorn magic)
it would be cool to push the design on the opposite direction and make them more ancient-looking, but i don't think i have enough ability in drawing animals to do that, so this will have to suffice. go my rats!!!!!!!!!
