On the topic of the pinglist for the familiar, will people be able to buy more than one of the familiars?
Also, since the qirig familiars were changed to cerdae, were the Tomo questions about them updated as well?

I just got one of those questions today, so no, not yet

People wanted non-traditional dragons, we get the everlux and cirrus, now people cry that they don't look like dragons. Boys, that math ain't mathing.
I am so STOKED for the Cirrus. I always loved Kirins/Qilins/etc from mythology. GIVE ME THE HORSE.

Up until a couple years back, I used to be very 'it's only a dragon if it has 4 legs and wings'. Now I am team 'they're mythical creatures, that never existed. Borrow from whatever animal you want and slap it on'.
This is the first ancient that I am excited for before/on launch. All the others had to grow on me. Personally, I've wanted a dragon with a more equine type body for a while. I would have preferred different horns but I am hoping we get nice line-breaking terts for them.

HORSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think the breed will grow on me once i own a couple but the hatchling pose seems so cute and unique!!
Honestly, I do not like the Cirrus at all. I get people have wanted non-traditional dragons/wingless dragons for a long time, but this ain't it, chief. It honestly feels like there was a weird stork baby mix up because the Cirrus feel more light than wind IMO (they look more related to pearlcathers than skydancers). Additionally, I get that there are no limitations to dragons, but I got to be real... When I play a dragon game, I do not want a horse. Everluxes, even though they are bug-themed, at least have a dragon-like vibe to them with the pose compositions and the head structure; the Cirrus looks like just a horse, not an ancient, powerful dragon. Nice for the people who like it, but as a Wind Flight member, I am severely disappointed.

Excited to see what they'll look like with all the different genes.
Also it's suuuuper Weird that people are drawing the "this is not a dragon" line here, of all places.

This. For all the talk of having more unconventional non-western looking dragons when we do get unconventional suddenly they are no longer 'dragony' enough. It's a bit silly, no? Dragons are a fictional fantasy race there is no real limit to what they can look like imo.
Anyways my thoughts on the Cirrus - I love them! They are so lovely! Of course i was very hopeful for a sky whale/manta but i absolutely adore the equinine look of the Cirrus, they are so graceful! And i cannot wait to see how they will look with linebreaking genes too, especially antlers i would love so so much to make deer-esque looking dragons!

I like how the art looks, although the design feels a bit like a generic Qilin to me.. with the previous breeds my favorite part of them has been how unique and interesting the designs are, and how they differ from designs in other media even if they take inspiration from different cultures or mythologies or such (which is a normal thing that happens for all creative work), which makes them feel much more original to me. so it makes me a bit sad to see that they felt the need to change the design at the last minute to look more generic..

I know a lot of people from Wind will be very excited to see this, and I am too! I've only been here for about 5 months, and now I'm able to experience the opening of a new ancient!!! Too bad Galore won't be able to give us a breed-change scroll, hopefully it won't be too expensive, lol, really want to have one!

I am on summer break, so I apologize for any missed pings and/or messages.
BOOP the pigeon!
if you (general you) want nothing but traditional dragons............ then don't use the unconventional ones.
it's that easy.
no one is forcing you to have cirrus or everluxes or veilspuns in your lair.
if you don't let the devs work out-of-the-box for the new breeds, we'd get nothing but slightly-to-the-left guardian redesigns. is that what you want?
i, for one, am delighted by the breed (even if it being a gem one does make me pouty, but that's more financial reasons than anything).
there was a thread a month ago where i stated as such:
i either want a fully bird-looking dragon (skydancers are close but not quite right) or a kirin/qilin. i will also possibly accept something more canine-looking as well.

and i am very happy that we're getting one that i'd hoped for.
