since I brought it up in the stream: post that compiled descriptions for untameable monsters/NPCs in RF4, but the specific arrow-to-the-knee meme descs:
I don't even think the meme was current at the time the original localization was being done. it's like how they use the word "glomp" in RF4 which I thought was maybe a sign of its age but no they also used it in a story of seasons game which came out years later XSEED is just like that. but anyway this squad is a good idea for a group of fandragons

I missed the first part of todays stream, but I dont think the plot advanced a lot; everlux anime girl woke up, her name is amber, and she lives in town now! and shes also got amnesia so we’re just collecting amnesiacs now. ventuswill said some vague foreshadowing like she knew something about amber, and there was a small story event where we bantered with ventuswill and she expressed happiness that she could be casual and have fun with the protag
also we got the fishing pole and spent a lot of time fishing (love), and tamed a wooly and named them Rambra…oh and there was a bit of dialogue about eliza/the request box, establishing that no one else can hear them but Bhean

Just a quick heads up for our cozy dragon streamers — I'm aiming for a 12:00 server/3pm EDT start time for tomorrow, Friday, June 6th.
And as for the game we're streaming tomorrow? We're going to check out Guardians of Azuma, the Rune Factory spin off!
I've read very, very little about this installment, except for the fact it's a spin off from the main series and they're experimenting with game mechanics. So, I'm pretty much starting as spoiler free a playthrough as possible tomorrow. Should be interesting! [emoji=new friend size=1]
