Hi! I don't really post often, but I wanted to get this off my chest and maybe hear from some people that share this problem: I've been playing for a few months now and I love it here, but I have a lot of plans and ideas! I worked really hard during NotN to save up enough to make more of my dragon ideas a reality...but now I can't bring myself to spend what I've worked hard to save up! I'm worried I'll end up regretting it, and because of that I haven't finished a project in what feels like ages. :(
Anyone get that too? What do you do about it? Do you just bite the bullet? How do you pick what to work on?

Ohh this is all too familiar haha. I either have no money whatsoever because I spent it all, or have over 10kg because I'm too afraid to spend it there is no in between xD
Usually it is the first step that's the hardest. Something that helps me is putting a certain amount of treasure and gems in my vault (right now it's 1kg and 1mt) and having the rest to spend. This way even if I regret what I've spent, I still have some funds to fall back on for other stuff.
Also I like buying the most expensive parts of my projects (gem genes) first. It's a slow start but does help me not to lose motivation when a project is nearly finished because it'll be easy/cheap to finish anyway. That's just personal preference though!
And if it helps, there's always next year's NotN to rebuild your funds. There's no rush on any of your projects ^^

I just spend it and if it's bad I'll earn it back.

This was my first project. I made him but don't actually want to breed these genes anymore. But you eventually getmore money.
I say as long as your money isn't tied up (preordering skins or art etc) then just spend it.

i get that occasionally! especially for gems, treasure is easy to make back but converting it is a pain. the dopamine rush from completely a project is so nice though!

Yes. So I do nothing until I have enough to reverse if I need to, and still have some left over. That way it’s less like giving up everything I have so it doesn’t matter as much

I picked a fixed amount to have in my vault - if I have to dip into that for something the priority is getting back to the correct amount, but anything over that is up for spending.

If it helps ya feel better, a month of daily luck streak in the fairgrounds will get you 2 million treasure back! Even then i still feel the need to squirrel away 20% of my income to the vault ?(?-?)?

Mood. Usually I just procrastinate on working on any dragon but then I'll get the impulse and just spend almost everything I tried to save up. Sunset gets paid some dopamine, sure, but Wallet has another reason to cry lmao

i take a second to reconsider the project. if i'm hesitating to spend the money i've saved up to complete it, then do i really want to do it? if not, i get rid of it.
