2024 NotN was crazy! I'm FR worn out. I was struggling to put posts together yesterday (including this one) because my brain simply would not cooperate.
This was the first time I've been around that a major ID hatch happened during Night of the Nocturne. (Has it ever happened before? I've no idea.) Not only that, it was the first ever grand milestone, of which we won't get another for around 12 years most likely.
I didn't do as much coli and bonding as the prior two years due to my time and mental energies being split between numbers and nocturne, but even so, I managed to bond with all my familiars (bar the ones on hibden dragons) with the exception of 3-4 days. Minimal coli, enough to level some dragons for den. These totaled to about 1220 chests!
I ended up with a stockpile of well over 100 eggs! I might have had more, but I hatched some.
Nothing crazy with my g1 hatches, but here's a few of the ones might keep, still debating. Includes my first natural born primal g1 ever!
The major highlight for me was the coincidental occurrence of the 100m countdown. I had so many misses from the actual rush, which I consider to be 99990000 to 100010001. But before and after those marks, my luck was pretty good. Three of my favorites during the duration of NotN itself:
I did not gene as much as I might have liked, but hopefully as I decide what dragons I might be able to part with and how much of my egg hoard to actually keep, I can get around to a little more of that.
A couple that did get genes:
My Odyssey hatch, and my 96 g1.
And last but not least, I caved and expanded my lair because of how badly I needed space despite not having the full dom discount at the time. Still, I am always glad for more spaces.
All in all, quite the busy festival and quite a few new dragons both for keeps and for potential sales.
