If you like Light you could always stay in Light! It's OK to have dragons from a specific element's breed and not be in that flight oneself! I have some Aethers and Undertides and I'm in Ice, for example.
One thing to think of, if you breed dragons often, is which element's eyes match the type of pairs you have the best. Of course, you can always nest rent, but for me, I stay in Earth even though I have been vibing with some others lately. The eyes tend to not clash with as many colored pairs. Same with Light!
If you want to breed a lot of Lightning dragons, go for it!
Is Dominance important to you? Go for who does it/gets it more.
If you want to change purely for lore/the banners, that's alright too!
Just lay out what's most important to you and go from there. :D
Annnnd, thanks to lair tabs, you can even separate out tabs for flights if you like. :)

im thinking abt joining lightning since I really like to match my dragons to my flight and since ima prob turn from an imperial to ancient #7 monolair... i feel the urge to match lol

2. best eyes, super versatile, look good on nearly everyone

This! I'm in Light flight and chose upon Aether release to have a mono-Aether-lair, with no plans to ever switch to Arcane. [emoji=aether winking size=1]
