Tl;dr:
- Shade's room upgrade, shower upgrade as well
- First Winter - soon I've played the savefile for one Sim-year!
- The Deities will hit adulthood soon - midlife crisis' incoming
Welcome to the Friday-weekend edition of this series!... yeah, school kicks my butt at times. Anyways, a new day, new happenings in the game. Before I started playing, I thought about user’s @
Phloxpetals suggestion. Albeit, I didn’t execute it, since creating the characters and their house would take a long time from my overall playtime. Alongside that, my batch of Deities could have crushes on the other Deities – this is weird, as in-lore they’re related to another. And I am not sure how I could edit mine and their family trees in a way that they’re related… maybe with Nraas, but I don’t want to screw up things.
Ahem… I could tell some things on things that have happened in-game as of lately. And some thoughts too. For seasons, I stopped at the last day of Autumn. Next day it’ll be Winter! The snow mechanics of this game are better than in The Sims 4. For thoughts, I realized that during Shade’s toddler phase, I never used the overpowered toddler playpen. (In case you don’t know, it’s a Sims 3 Store-item that raises toddlers’ needs (expect Social in case the toddler’s alone) when they’re inside it). And by looking at the launcher… it wasn’t installed, alongside other things I own. Odd. I installed them right away.
Lastly of these, Windsinger has been getting stalky letters from one of the Landgraab’s. If only I would romance these Deities… she would be a jackpot. (Landgraab’s are the wealthy Sims of the series). To the game. I renovated Shade’s room, given that she’s a child now. She… only got a new bed (in the shape of a pirate ship). I made Lightweaver, Shadowbinder and Windsinger up some skills (namely Logic, Handiness and Charisma) as Saturday turned into Sunday. As it got to 7 AM, I got a notification that it’s Shadowbinder’s birthday soon. She’s 2 days away from turning into an adult – midlife crisis time, woo…
The Deities were living on canned soup for a while, until Windsinger made some PB&J sandwiches. As Shade was getting low on Social, I made her talk to Shadowbinder. They didn’t get together at first… albeit, Arcanist and Shade got really well, making them best friends! Tidelord went to learn Charisma for his work. It started to snow heavily – it could be fun for two Sims to make a snowman. During the night, a funny thing happened: Shadowbinder went into Lightweaver’s room to eat a PB&J as Lightweaver was sleeping. Feels canonical.
Tidelord, Windsinger and Shadowbinder got sick, so they didn’t have to go to work. Due to the amount of snow, Shade didn’t have to go to school. Lightweaver got promoted in her work, and now she is required to make research… whatever that means. Also, I forgot to mention in the beginning: I upgraded the shower, as the Deities would complain about the shower being cold.
Before I saved and quit, Shade got to level 3 in Blocks skill! This means that whenever she hits teenage years, she'll have an upper hand when it comes to the Handiness Skill... I believe this gives her 4 levels in Handiness at start? I think that’ll be for today. A bit shorter than usual, but whatever. Someday soon we’ll see them live more.
Creepy Nancy.
Like those car-shaped beds but better!
Skill raising training montage.
Canned soup life - also nude Arcanist.
Father-daughter bonding.
This made me giggle a bit.
