Based around how I've experienced all ancient breed releases so far is that, unless Aequorin posts an image or gif FR's own forums and various social media platforms, that's [i]obviously[/i] designed to be a hint, then it's not soon enough. Granted it's possible they will pull out something else, like what they did with Baldwin's transformation and Dustcarve Dig, but if we do end up seeing a suspiciously designed artwork, then it's pretty obvious. I love how this community is made of tin hats and never once, to my knowledge, have we had a major release that we weren't warned about in some way that was more subtle then Baldwin's transformation.

I mean... if memory serves and look, it was five years ago, it might not before Bogs, peoples' tin foil hats were on even harder, though... at that point, Nocs'd only been released two years before that, so there was more hope, I suppose.

That said, I'd expect to see teaser art today or tomorrow for a Halloween launch, and more likely there in November or possibly early December (later December would conflict by NotN, so... I hope the art's done by then, though I mean, if it needs to take longer, sometimes that needs to happen and I'm gonna do my best to keep the salt levels low.

Yeah, I think they would put out a hint first before they release an ancient. If it truly is a Halloween release (which I doubt will be)then we should see a hint in the next day or so.

I wonder how much the devs enjoy everyone looking around for clues and hints when they haven't even put one out. So far the devs have only released a possible W.I.P. silhouette for the breed, and here we are not even two months later trying to speculate the release time.
