tbh, i used to not like them but theyve grown on me a bit! its a bit of a hit and miss for me, especially on the male pose

I think the female pose is more readily accepted over the male pose.
The male pose is just too clunky and awkward to dress, and I think people are turned off to them because of their goofy faces too.
I personally don't really like them much, but they do have some awesome skins/accents because they have such a big canvas to work with.
Though, people seem to love Snapper babies.

I think their facial expressions are comedic looking to a lot of people (particularly the male face), so I guess that can turn many people off of them

WIP
Snapper babies: chunky little bois, have the bonus of big eyes and looking smol and baby.
Snapper F-pose: The sheer amount of funky skins, plus angle of the head makes this dragon seem more dressable and desirable.
Snapper M-pose: some skins, but the front-angled face just looks goofy. The feet pointing inwards and the odd angles in general make it less desirable.

I think the most appealing part of Snappers to me is their skins. Their big toothy faces makes for some really unique ones, and the fact that snappers can take up the entire PFP without any white space. They allow effectively for 'custom' pfps if you have the gems and art skills to spare.

male pose is super weird
The female pose and hatchlings are cute though :)

A lot of people tend to prefer elegant or fierce looking breeds over goofier ones, although I think snappers can still be pretty

Elegance seems to be a very popular form on FR judging by the popularity of Skydancers, Imperials, and Pearlcatchers. Snappers are pretty far from elegant, so they already fall short in that regard.

not very elegant, are chonky. kinda ugly to me. i much prefer the dragons with finer details, that look less goofy.
