Flight Rising Discussion

I try to keep out of this drama as much as possible. But I'm definitely salty that they made a compromise with allowing Zombies which is, as mentioned, against almost everything Plague stands for.

Honestly, i get the frustration, but it's been like this since like, 2015/2016
This is the first time they actually made a "clarification" post

[/quote] I’m going to sound extremely harsh here but considering a child could tell the difference between fantasy and reality at the ages of 3-5, if a 13 years old thinks that bleeding is cool, they have problems that should be rectified asap, and I severely doubt that a 13 years old never managed to, say, skin their knee after stepping the wrong way and get that ouch experience. “Looks” fantasy is extremely subjective as well considering how actual pustules and infected wounds look in reality. Honestly, I severely doubt it is about advertisement considering what I have heard and seen, and I can confidently say that the things advertised in the sidebar contains worse things than scratches that bleed. I won’t say let plague be red, since the staff will go to their technicality that red is allowed despite reality. I will say, let plague have their survival, let plague have their wounds as proof that despite their pain they are there and they are stronger for it

[/quote] THIS! as someone who has a sibling who cut after seeing cuts being glorified as cool online, I very much understand not wanting to show gore, that might insight harm. That being said, the do sometimes take it overboard. I do like the sensorship on FR, because open wounds do not insight good memories.

This is not a flight rising only issues. People have been arguing why killing humans who contain green blood is rated for teens but killing the same humans with red blood is not. This is event when those humans are clearly as cartoon like as possible. This issue is worldly not a flight rising only issue. Flight rising staff take a risk if they ignore such ratings. And [i]yes it is nonsense what can be shown and what can't be show.[/i] People have been against this forever and game and movie makers have been forced to dumb down their stuff, wondering how nonsense it is that they could depict great emotional suffering, but god forbid someone curses too much or a wound is too big. Basically I'm saying, its dumb, it's really really dumb, but if the ratings are the issue, it's not controlled by Flight rising staff. Also please make sure to report ads containing gore and the like. Those are very much not allowed and staff has removed those when reported. Edit: I must stress that I also believe these rating rules are not very good and I'd like more, at least "cuts / was just in a fight" accents but [u]if[/u] flight rising staff are worried about ratings there's nothing much that can be done due to how nonsense most countries rating systems are.

As much as I’d like for FR to allow blood and a lil bit of gore, they can’t control age rating. They’re already toeing the line (I’m p sure) with plague, plague lore, luminax and plaguebringer, they can’t bend the rules much more :/

Frankly I find the green pustules and pus and ooze etc. waaaay more disturbing than blood/cuts in the colour red. And I say this as an easily triggered cutter.

Another thing I say as a self harmer: this nonsense you folks are spewing about kids seeing a drawn-on cut in a dragon game and wanting to try it out themselves? Please shut up. You have no idea what you’re talking about and frankly it’s offensive.
