Instead of giving the deties back the devs will start kidnapping every single deity till a Beastclan deity rises up in the absence and we have a bit event.

Unfortunately, this isn't Neopets, where a plot is introduced, played through over time, and wrapped up. Flight Rising isn't a fan of that. See: every single plot hook the lore has introduced since the site's inception.
What's up with the Shade? Who knows!
What's going on with Talona? Will the "war" between dragons and the Beastclans ever see some sort of conclusion? It's anyone's guess!
What was up with the entirety of the Bounty of the Elements? Something, I'm sure!
Introducing new lore brings in new interest and increases revenue. Wrapping up lore storylines does not. Ergo, the questions pile up and nothing really gets answered.

Yes, yes, but I think loose ends do need to be tied up eventually, or else you run the risk of people losing interest in the story you're trying to tell if you drag it out for a decade or so. It's disappointing when you become attached to these characters and invested in their stories, and then they're just forgotten or pushed aside, and the rest of their stories never get told. They deserve better.
I just hope that when we do get closure (at least to the Shade arc, or whatever you want to call it), it's not like... the end. The credits roll, and that's it. I hope the story continues somehow, though I know the story will end eventually, as all things do.

is very likely to take your posts literally - has difficulty discerning if tone is joking
I wouldn't say the Earthshaker is missing, more like he told everyone he'd be off and then left on his Epic Quest. The Obelisks of course are the next piece of the puzzle for this new unseen threat and so we're definitely progressing with that story that way.
