It’s a fad for sure, but it’s so fun to watch others wipe out or get caught. It’s that slightly chemical smell of Nuclear Cookies wafting through the air as singing coatls sell the sweets. There’s a roar of disappointment as the fan favorite goes down, a beautiful Skydancer from a small town in the Crystalspine Reaches. The Crystal Chaser of this round is a spiral and so far seven of the ten have been tagged out, leaving the final two to dance a deadly duet as they attempt to collect the last of their crystals while being chased. With a cheer, a guardian finishes. With a groan, the last Nocturne is tagged. The game goes on, a fresh wave of task doers and Crystal Chasers, the audience on the edge of their seats. It’s a strange game to be sure, but it’s fun and none of the dragons watching would have it any other way. It’s something that unifies the dragons of Arcane and the crowd cheers are hilarious.
