A big fear of mine is that the map update isn't going to come out until all/most of the BotE lore has been wrapped up, since those have been doing various things to parts of the landscape. After waiting so long for the map, I was shocked to see that we were given a preview only a month before the hoard/vault revamp comes out.

Map shmap, as someone w/an awfully messy hoard, I'm delighted for the update.
Personally I value the site functionality improvements far more, though that doesn't mean I couldn't care less about the visuals.

The map update likely required a huge amount of new art, which is why it's taking so much longer. I think the hoard/vault is overall much simpler, so they were able to complete it faster.

I’m almost 99% sure it’s going to be coming with the next lore event at this point. That or it’ll come with all new flight banners and art and quite possibly the nest update as well... but really it’s been two whole years and I’m really disappointed it’s not here yet when the hoard and vault had a dev update not long ago but now it’s almost here.

Same. Map will be cool when it gets here but hoard revamp is QoL improvement and I live for that. The amount of valuable things I've converted or hoard sold because I have over 40+ pages of stuff in some categories is insane. If I can finally sort through my stuff I will be beside myself.
