I used to love it, but it's just a tad too busy. Like, I love the shoulder swirl, but the rest gets a bit huh (or well, I used to like the swirl lol). I guess covering it up works!

I still have a few boys who looks great with it, though.
Looks artificial and makes for busy looking dragons, what with all the tiny patches of different colors.

I treat cherub like I treat skydancer females; it's nice. It basically works with anything. But I'd never want it to overtake my whole lair. (I need to slap imperials into that category as well soon... they are starting to rival my coatl numbers)

When I first started it was the first gene I got really attached to but now a days I only avoid using it on my own dragons since I have at least 4 perma dragons who all use it. And that's only on my 1st page of permas I know for a fact there are more in my lair and hibden hiding under the radar.

the only part of cherub I'm not crazy about is the eyelashes/eye wings. But even then I adore those markings on some dragons. but everything else is usually a win for me. I especially love the glove look on the hands and dorsal marking along the neck.

a+++
would cherub my entire lair if necessary

but, honestly, I've loved it since the day it came out. I just love those patterns, and, back then, they worked amazingly on my circus themed dragons. Plus, some of the accent colours (like black, violet) looks simply eye-candy.

Good gene, I like it though the tertiary options are limited with it. I really like it!! I have to restrain myself from using it too much. I just think it looks good with so many things.

It's absolutely gorgeous! I'm planning to use the gene on my girl, Kalkay, here, soon because it looks beautiful with her colouring + goes perfectly with her Mulberry Morph wings. [emoji=heart size=1]

Camien's Cavern for All Dragons.
And I don't know anything, except that green is so green.
And there's a special kind of sadness that seems to come with spring...

I love it! Cherub is one of my most-fav primary genes, next to skink, pinstripe, savannah and python. just look at them:

i used to like it a lot more, but not a big fan. it's very situational to me right now.

The only gene that I don't have any plans for because I cannot make it work for the love of me. The swirls on the shoulder look way too toony and the feathery pattern on the side look scribbled, I cannot vibe with it. It's not a bad gene at all and I do have an ideal scry of a potential G1 I'd use it on but that's about it. I've seen many dragons with it and somehow they make it work but in my case, almost impossible.
