Personally, I think Fuchsia is a fantastic accent color. I'm not as big a fan of it being a primary color, so I'd probably also use a gene that tones down the color if I was working with a Fuchsia dragon, but that's my personal opinion.
I think it's label as an "eye-burner" comes partly from how often it gets used in intentionally eye-burning dragons, and partly from people who dislike or feel pain at vibrant colors.

I think it's neat, but it can be really hard to work with if any of the other 2 colors can't match it well. Like my poor Oilslick/Fuchsia/Fog dragon........ I cannot scry him for the life of me, the colors Just Do Not Match.
for more petty reasons I have more of a disdain for Magenta. Thylacine with that color on a grey dragon should not be allowed and I speak from experience

ehhhh it's a little too bright for me. I prefer either really pale pastels or really dark colors. but I DO really love how fuchsia looks combined with purple!

It's a bit hard to work with, imo. Some gene combos can make it almost eyeburn-y.
