Part of plague is natural selection.
If you failed and died, you weren’t meant to be there to pass on genes in the first place. If you died, you failed. Coming back is just cheating, and defeats the whole purpose. Plus it is CONFIRMED plaguemom hates the undead.

ALSO, none of the flights revolve AROUND undead, have undead inspirations, or even mostly approve of the undead.
Plague has ‘zombie’ accents and stuff like that because of associations with disease, and using green blood because the color red isn’t allowed for plague accents (unless you wanna fight for it)
Even in light, with emperors, Lightweaver doesn’t seem to exactly approve of them.
In ice, demon hunter would make far more sense. Just replace demon with shade.

While I like to make the Lich King comparison, it's kind of the 'emotionless and unrelenting in their task' idea of Ice that makes me think of Death Knights. Especially in the Frost aspect with the whole 'Chains of Ice' ability and the like. Even with their other aspects, I still think of them as frozen things.
