Absolutely. There's a time and a place for neutrality, and this sure isn't one of them. Though it also deserves to be said: this isn't a political issue. This is people's lives and livelihoods at stake. It's so much more than a red v. blue fight.

This update is so important and I'm glad staff are open about supporting BLM. This isn't just politics, it's about people's lives and black people deserve a safe place to relax because unlike white people, they don't get to just log off and forget about this. You may feel uncomfortable but this is real, this is important, these are people's lives. Your discomfort is not the same as what black people experience on a daily basis.

I'm really impressed by how straightforward this message is and the fact that staff have taken such a firm stance on the issue instead of just offering some fluffy, neutral platitudes that try to placate everybody. Great statement. Black lives matter!

I'm glad they left no room for misinterpretation of their statement, and their support of the demand for justice. Seeing it said straightforwardly is appreciated. And I especially appreciate that they also linked resources for people to contribute to and educate themselves.
