I do hope more bug-like features get incorporated into their design though
Really hoping we’ll get to see ancients that stray from the 1 head, 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 wings, 1 tail thing though, I’d love to see what stuff we could get breaking the rules for moderns

a lot of discussion has been going on amongst us here to have the tert be different bug wings and the mane be secondaries. while more patterned stuff would be difficult, since its an ancient they could elect to use more simple parallel genes, perhaps?

Haha. Frogfeet was actually from several years ago. I misspoke. Dusted off the drawing and made some tweaks to it, but ultimately decided that it didn't really hit the notes for what we are aiming for with this breed. That said, stubby frog dragons are love. :)

I absolutely LOVE how this design looks with the long hair and without the wings. If they keep this design I really hope they keep the wings off. I think it looks better without them and really showcases the long mane. The secondary gene can just affect the hair instead of wings.
