Ok, so I can't say I really hate very many genes or colors because pretty much all of them can look bomb as heck, so I'm just gonna show some examples of genes others have listed that I think look gorgeous in the right combos [b]Laced[/b] It can be iffy sometimes, but overall, I think it's a pretty decent gene, and if not decent, then fecking incredible. Like look at Ni here. I saw her a while back and while her name is really cool, her appearance is even cooler! There are very few situations in which it looks good. Yes, they bring in a bunch of colors and can really be tert-savers, but at the same time, it feels kinda cluttered sometimes. I especially hate Poison on Nocs for what it does with their faces, though I'm sure there's some good instances of it out there. The moment I found this kid was the moment I stated really liking both Toxin and Piebald [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=55965558] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/559656/55965558_350.png[/img] [/url] This dragon's one of my projects as well, and hoooly fnickk, Poison goes [i]so well[/i] with Capsule! I actually have a bunch of similar Wildclaw scries with Poison/Something (usually Basic or Eyespots)/Capsule in different colors saved. My profile derg has Smirch. My biggest project has Smirch. It's great. [i][s]This project is slowly killing me though. For colors, I'd have to go with Coral. It can look like raw meat in a bunch of genes.

As for genes, it can vary. I do NOT like the empty glass look that Capsule can have. But some colors and breeds can minimize that look and it can look really good.

I'm also not a fan of Contour, but I've found a single dragon in my lair that it works on. It looks kinda like a racing stripe.

Same with Smirch, don't like it but I have a single dragon that it looks great on. Although to be fair, it mostly looks great because I bought him with Crackle and it looked so much like he had had a grape bubblegum accident that I put it in his bio. Smirch gets the same idea of a gum accident across as Crackle, but in a smoother fashion. I think it'll depend on what primary gene I end up giving him when I can finally get around to the regening of my lair.

Oddly enough, I have several dragons in my lair that have Okapi right now. I like it alright, but once I finally finish my projects and can re-gene my regular lair, I won't have a single dragon with it. They all just look better with other terts.

I utterly despise Eldritch and Oilslick, not because they're bad colors, but because they're in the wrong spot on the color wheel. THEY'RE NOT BLACK DAMNIT

Crystal genes are weird. What is it, a dragon or a dragon crystal statue??
I have just one with crystal genes (i mean primary and secondary). But it has Maize, and stained, so its subtle.

I really don't like crystal and facet.

Colours of the pink range and Lace can get out.
