I’m actually surprised about clown/eyespots being so disliked. Certainly it’s more usable/innocuous than like tiger/stripes or speckle/freckle?

I'm actually surprised there were so many people who disliked Circuit. I thought it was a good, well-liked gene. My friends love it, I need it for a few of my projects, and I see it everywhere.
Also, Squiggle for Banes. I think it's actually a pretty good tert-saver on them if you can't get Wraith for some reason. If it's a contrasting color, it just looks like paint speckled across 'em.
Also, @Halszkaraptor, as someone who disliked that combo, I personally did so because for me, Clown almost never looks good. I have a few projects with Eyespots, because it's got a plain but soft look, but I usually just use Basic if I want plain (I wish Basic was in the survey, because I love Basic/Basic dragons with gened terts, and I know people who don't even bother with tert genes if the tert doesn't look good).
Anyway, yeah. I can usually find good examples of the other prim/sec combos, but Clown just doesn't do it for me, and while Eyespots is alright, it's a bit of a plain gene that can usually just as well be substituted with Basic or Shimmer.
