I am the patron saint of having bad taste (insert joke about heated water towers here)
As I usually only buy gen1 dragons these days what usually
stops me from buying another even if I like them is my pile of
my other unfinished projects, that or the only scry I liked for
them is too expensive.

I feel like such a Fire snob, but I tend to lean towards my orange-eyed beauties as well as unnamed dragons. If they're named, I feel super-bad changing their names to something I like better, so I prefer to go for the nameless ones.

Knowing I’ll have to decide who goes. I have a strict 40 active dragons, lore pending lmao, and I’d like to keep it no more, no less, so it’s becoming harder to let myself impulse buy!

Running out of space, or realizing that it has a bunch of genes my lair is already full of since I want a more diverse lair
(and constantly repeating "I don't need it, I don't need it")

Starting this year, I won't be buying anything but oldies (7 digits or less). I've noticed that I get buyer's remorse pretty quickly after I buy any dragon that isn't an oldie, no matter how beautiful they are.
