I read through this whole thread hoping to find someone who shares an obscure fandom with me, but alas. The only one I found was @SpaceRobotWifi's Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! dragons, and I haven't watched that show since about third grade. I definitely have my own obscure fandragons though. In fact, I have a whole team of them! I'm currently working on geneing the rest of First Squad from the cartoon Hero: 108. It's a Cartoon Network show that ran for about two seasons, years apart, in the 4AM time slot. Occasionally I see someone who vaguely remembers season 1, but rarely anyone who knows the show or even knows season 2, which IMO is better. I have a fandragon who is EVEN MORE OBSCURE. In-universe, the character is actually kind of famous; his name shows up a number of times throughout the books. But he only shows up in person for book 23 and I think briefly in the very last book. There are a few pictures of him because this is a children's book series, but his only distinguishing features are his significant eyebrow(s) and mustache and his colorful clothes, so I kinda went from there. Backing off on that but still in the "obscure enough that very few if any people [i]on FR[/i] recognize them" range, yes I have more. My first fandragon, Hiruko, is from a manga that I'm surprised isn't better known. It's called Nightmare Inspector, it's pretty good, and it's advertised in the backs of a number of volumes of Fullmetal Alchemist because both were produced by Square Enix. Youtuber dragons obviously aren't unheard of, but I don't think I have EVER seen Hermitcraft fandragons on this site, despite some relatively popular 'tubers being a part of it. Despite a new game coming out at the end of the year, I still feel Guilty Gear is pretty obscure? I mean, fighting games are already niche, most people only know of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Honestly, this entire tab is a hilarious set of fandragons. They're based on a book that you usually find in those YouTube videos that include 'cryptic' books. I actually own the book to use it for artistic inspiration, and the project was born from it! The current plan is to get a triple of every color to reference back to this book in some way!

Oh, and in my typical fandragon fashion, they will all have lore. Hilarious, lighthearted, somewhat serious lore. Until you hit the body horror side of things like what I have planned for LadybugRing and Toothdress.
