I feel like if any of the gods tried to exalt themselves it would cause a paradox and the a black hole would absorb all of Sornieth.

Let's see, using my knowledge of philosophy and logical arguments that I acquired in *cough* 5th grade...
1. The deities created Sorneith
2. The shade tried to kill em all
3. The shade returned *cough* Arcanist *cough*
4. The gods were barely strong enough to fend it off
5. Thus, as according to 4, one less god would give the shade power
6. Giving the shade power means DEATH
7. "DEATH" is bad
8. So, don't exalt gods... *cough* Arcanist *cough*
Haha it's a pretty crappy argument, I could do better if I wanted. Still tho... curiosity burns as to the results off exalting a deity.
