So The Arcanist does not understand what eating is... that's interesting.

The Arcanist probably subsists solely on magic energy, so he doesn't have a need for food. Perhaps the rest of the deities work in similar ways?
- For example, the Lightweaver is basically just photosynthetic.
- The Stormcatcher absorbs energy, of which lightning is only one type, but a plentiful one.
- The Earthshaker has a steady diet of minerals and stone the likes of which would break any other being's teeth, because he's hardcore like that.
- Flamemama just eats nothing but straight-up lava, which, once ingested, will turn into anything ranging from magma to basalt to obsidian depending on what her body requires at that time.
- The Windsinger feeds upon the currents in the air itself. Dinner for him is pretty much equal to a nice flight around the Windswept plateau.
- The Gladekeeper has several platoons' worth of exalted dragons who cultivate the finest and most nutritious of flora for her.
- The Tidelord gets all the nutrients he needs from water itself, so wherever he is, he's unlikely to be starving.
- The Icewarden is somewhat similar to the Arcanist in that his body automatically absorbs what it needs from the climate around him.
- The Shadowbinder... the opposite of the Lightweaver? Charges up during the night? Or perhaps she feeds off negative energy...?
- The Plaguebringer feeds upon ill, dying, and recently deceased dragons, some of which are brought to her by a specialised group of exalted dragons, many more of which are volunteers, as it is considered a great honour to be deemed worthy of consumption. Many Plague dragons believe this ritual cleanses their soul and will cause them to be reincarnated.
