What was the original inspiration behind FlightRising? Like, what made you start it? What was the original idea?
The main source of inspiration comes from the creatures and style found in Undel/Neondragon's art books. From there, a group of friends came together and started forming a world around that. While the premise started with a breeding simulator, much of what launched with Flight Rising really started to kick into gear in its final year of development and the coming together of our team's ideas (2012-2013), and the rest is history!

Is there a roof to how many supports the suggestion is supposed to get before it can get real viewing by the staff?
All suggestions posted to the forum are reviewed; however, suggestions are implemented based on how they fit into our overall game design philosophy, not votes or views. For instance, a suggestion could have two pages of comments and align very well with the direction the development team envisions for the game. However, one could have thirty pages of posts but not quite fit for the world of Sornieth. You can read more about this in our
Encyclopedia article on this subject.

...are our dragons different breeds from 1 single founder species that all of the gods molded to their specific liking, or are they are distinct species that the gods individually created from different whatevers that just happen to make fertile mules with each other?
Dragon breeds today are long-descended forms of unique breeds created by the deities.

We have Tomo's Trivia Tablet, Swip's Swap Stand, Baldwin's Bubbling Brew, and then the Festive Favors booth has...Joxar. Why isn't his name alliterated with F?
Joxar's colorful personality and celebratory support of all dragonflights doesn't lend itself very well to conformity!

If Ridgebacks have a prevailing fear of water, then what happens with Water Flight Ridgebacks? Do they lack the phobia? Do they live on islands near their clan's lair? Or do they just... suffer?
Ridgebacks that have hatched and lived submersed in water during their formative years would not have the fear of it that ridgeback hatchlings that had dry land experience early-on would have. It is possible for a water-aligned ridgeback hatchling to be afraid of water, if they were given an option of dry land after their hatching. If they have no such option during their growth and learning period, they do not develop the discomfort around water that other ridgebacks do.

Is there any reason as to why Food, Materials and Trinkets will stack in the hoard, but Familiars and Apparel do not?
Familiars and apparel do not stack because they are higher value items and are generally not likely to be mass-sold through the hoard or purchased more than one at a time through the auction house.
Because these are higher value items that are typically used one at a time, stacking them introduces greater chances for mistakes to be made! If players do want to sell/give/buy more than one of these items at a time, they are free to perform multiple actions on multiple individual items.
