In the beginning of time...

...there was PIE.

It sprang out of the darkness, shining brilliantly in the form of a billion delicious slices. A handful of these slices combined and formed into a heavenly body...

THE BODY OF THE PIE LORD.

It did not stop there, however. From the burned, leftover bits of PIE WORLD came another creature, a nefarious deity struggling into existence. While PIE LORD solidified into his pienormous glory, his sister remained calamitous, her nature and temperment forming from years of explosive tumult.

Unlike her brother, she teemed with preheated evil. As chunks of pie and crust smashed into one another, they prevented the perfect gastronomic harmony needed for her to become another benevolent PIE GOD.

From this bedlam, came --

PIETHROWER .

Concerned only with their own campaigns, PIE LORD and PIETHROWER bickered and quarreled over PIE WORLD, until bitter conjecture turned to combat. Pies flew. Pies were eaten. The battle raged for centuries.

Turbulent PIE WORLD, a once-beautiful feat of spontaneous celestial baking, would soon be left in crumbles.

But time heals all things
if given a chance...

...it wasn't.
