I'm incredibly excited for this! I'm actually participating in the user made events side of things, hope this goes smoothly!
At least, for me.
Copperfil was raised in a Fire clan, learning how to make things lock, interwine. Metals, jewels, relationships, anything she could get her claws on.
Her creations were delicate, interwoven things. Beautiful, twisted. She set it onto her own skin, where it ripples as if it was originally a part of her hide.
She wouldn't have been content there, if left long enough, so when she heard of an opportunity unlike any other, where she could gather work experience and see the interworkings of the Spire...
Well.
Copperfil's a businessperson first and an artisan second. To potentially see the techniques utilized by the Lightning flight, see what exactly they're doing with all that power they've been collecting?
Even a fool would know the value of such knowledge.
Day One
An auditorium. Of course. Copper wasn't surprised, really; just disappointed. She stilled, attempting to stop her chains from jingling. Why did she wear them here, again?
Right.
Because she forgot to take them off.
Copper watched Natalie as she spoke of the internships and felt her mood steadily grow worse. She'd fallen for the ads, hadn't she? They really just wanted labour
Yep. Yep, she'd definitally fallen for the ads.
Well. Between dragon experimentation and paperwork, she was going to take the paperwork.
It's paperwork. How much life and limb can one lose to paperwork?she asked herself as she made her way towards a bored-looking Wildclaw.
A lot, probably, she thought grimly, as he handed her a rather heavily protected hard hat.
Day Two
Copper answered the Fae's questions in her own unhurried way, though, well, she figured it wasn't the best idea to answer completely honestly.
"I go by Brass."
"Metal inlays on my skin, though they're mostly cosmetic, and no, they don't affect mobility."
"I can pull 5 gs under my own power, so probably fine."
"Situational."
"Drop a letter down one of the lava tubes in the Ashfall Wastes, they'll find it."
After securing an ID card onto one of the chains dangling on her wings, she heard a muffled thump, a cry of distress, and a slightly quieter yelp.
These are the Lightning labs, such occurrences can't be uncommon. Besides, if she wants keep her head down, and her eyes open, it's better to wait and follow instructions.
Besides, she didn't particularly want to hang around the wrong rooms.
"Familiar dissection for the advancement of science" sounded far more bio-mechanical than engineering, and she knew which of the disciplines she far preferred.
Day Three
a quick note: I'm not proud of this. Not at all. I may edit this later.
Copperfil took stock of Dalfryn, wondering what made his bag so very full. Not that it mattered too much but still, curious. She followed him down the intertwining hallways, trying- and failing- to make a mental map of the facilities. She did catch a few suspicious-looking dragons disappearing into random hallways, but she did not particularly to follow them. She was already lost, and she didn't need to accidentally find a dissection or something.
...was that the reason Maui warned her about this place?
Besides, Copper did always like learning of other's drama.
