"You're right. You're right." River still hesitated to move.
"Something wrong?"
"What if something happens to Lavit?"
"I'll stay behind and watch them, okay?"
"Thanks. I'll be back soon."
Marcus looked up, slightly nervously, "Please do."
He spread his wings and flapped up to the ceiling. It was odd; even though he wasn't particularly dark-scaled, he blended in almost perfectly.
River smiled and then left the smaller dragon. She walked to the door, not the one they came in from obviously, and rested her head against it, trying to listen for anyone on the otherside.
Hearing no one, she quietly turned the door handle and stepped into the hallway. This hallway was better lit than the others, which confused her briefly. Whereas in all the other hallways the curtains had been closed casting a shadowed look everywhere, these hallways were brightly lit, as if royalty or one of the deities had once stepped in here.
River traipsed across the hallway and entered into what appeared to be a living room. Maybe there was water in here?

I guess the reason why everyone is always unanimously picking the same thing is because they realize that even if they pick something else it’s probably just going to be whatever people answered for the first few times. So... Herd Mentality? :)
