"Dragons of all ages and sizes, please put your claws together for Mr Avavanchi!"
"Thank you, thank you. Settle down please." Mr Avavanchi smiled broadly, swivelling his beady eyes around the room full to the brim of rich wallets. "Thank you all for coming to this grand opening."
He strolled around the stage, addressing his captivated audience. He had them on the edges of their seats, grasping onto every word.
"I pioneered the technology for AI Dragons, and I would like to introduce the newest model, the Mark IV."
Most of the dragons in the auditorium gasped as they saw what was underneath the clean white sheet.
"Already being sold in houses across the country! Pick yours up now."
Cheering and whooping followed him off the stage and a few weeks later almost every Clan owned a AI Dragon. Everything seemed fine.
The AI's were perfect in everything they were needed to be. They could fight with lethal blows, and look after the hatchlings as if they were their own eggs. They could plan attacks on other Clans, or count the food items in the Hoard. Anything you needed them to do, they could do it.
Only a few short weeks later did the glitches start occurring. Dragons in Clans were found mysteriously killed with clean precise cuts in all of the fatal areas. After a short investigation, the AI's were discovered to be the murderers.
Production stopped immediately, AI models were withdrawn and destroyed without hesitation. Everyone was on the lookout for loose androids, searching in every crack until they thought they had found every last one.
And they almost did.
Android #737 was in the Hoard cave, counting the amount of food, even though he had already done so a few days ago, when they heard the whispered voices, coming closer and closer.
Earlier in the week they had heard their Clan mates talking about the murders in other Clans. #737 didn't know exactly what happened, but they felt reassured that nothing had happened inside of their Clan. Since then however, an uneasy feeling grew in the back of their brain; they was tempted to talk to their Clan mates about it because they might be malfunctioning, but every time they tried to talk, they found other things to do. It felt as if people were moving away from them and staring, watching their every move.
Suddenly someone jumped on top of Android #737 and started scratching and biting them viciously. #737 tried to push themselves upwards but the dragon on top was too heavy for them to lift. Their breathing quickened and they started crying out.
"Stop! Stop!"They cried breathlessly.
They were feeling... fear. That, that wasn't right. But there was no time to question what was going on. They needed to get out of there, now.
To their left was a large stone. Picking it up in their mouth, they started bashing the rock on top of the other dragons foot. The other dragon cried out in pain and #737 managed to slip out from underneath and fly out of the entrance.
Two other dragons followed along closely behind them, a Banescale and a Spiral. #737 knew they had to get as far away as they could. And so they flew, as fast as their wings could carry them. But the dragons still followed.
A forest loomed below them, and #737 realised they could lose them in it. Diving in and swirling between the trees, they managed to dislodge the Banescale. But the Spiral was swifter and moved between the trees easily. And there wasn't much forest left. The rest was a waterfall and a large drop.
The Spiral quickly gained ground and dug its claws into #737's back. They cried out in pain and saw dark at the edge of their vision.
Feeling #737 go limp, she assumed she had dealt with the problem. So she dropped the rouge Android into the river, she watched it tumble off of the waterfalls edge and hit the lake below and then flew back to join her Clan mates.

River stretched; camping wasn't such a good idea. It was cold and soggy and wet making him feel all kinds of yuck. At least it got him away from his Clan.
Walking out of his temporary den, he strolled down to the river to freshen up. Before he started however, he noticed something lying in a heap by the riverbed. Stepping closer, so that he could get a better look. He realised with a shock that it was a dragon.
(This is where you come in. You are basically the inner voices in River's head, guiding him/her/their decisions. Roleplay doesn't really work here, sorry! Please vote for what way you want the story to lead. If your choice gets the most votes by the time I count, which is random, that is the way the story will go. Please bold your choice!)
Option A - Go closer to it, it looks like it's hurt.
Option B - Stay a safe distance, but watch it intently. It looks familiar, but you can't tell under all of the sea grass and slime.
Option C - Leave it be. It looks dead, or dying.
(EDIT - Story got changed very slightly! You are all voices inside of one dragons mind, making up decisions.)
