It’s late one evening and you find yourself walking to dark streets of the city with a group of friends. You pass by a lamp post when one of your friends calls out, stopping you in your tracks.
“Hey, check this out,” they exclaim.
Following their gaze, you spot a tattered flyer tapped to the lamp post you just passed. Crowding around the flyer, you and your friends read over it.

Do you think you have what it takes to go against the best singers and musicians in the area? Want to prove that you are the best? Make a name for yourself and take this once in a lifetime chance to achieve your dreams of becoming famous! This Saturday, come to the Golden Idol Theatre and do your best to wow our judges! After an initial audition, the judges will pick up to twenty people to move on to the second round! There, you’ll be fully judged for your talent, skills, and abilities! At the end the judges will choose the best performance to win a grand prize of $50,000! You may sign up with a group with no more than four people!

You find yourself nodding along with your friends and you all walk away, chatting excitedly amongst yourselves about the competition. Glancing back over your shoulder at the lamp post, you frown, feeling uneasy for a reason you can’t place. However, you turn your attention back to your friends, your frown fading back into a smile.
After all, how dangerous can a little competition be?
Rules
- Follow FR guidelines
- Don’t edit or delete posts
- No outside communication regarding this thread
- Each person must post at least two times each day cycle
- Don’t pressure people into revealing their role
- Don’t post anything the mod privately tells you word for word. You may paraphrase though. If it’s something the mod wants everyone to be aware of, they’ll announce it publicly
- Days are 48 hours and nights are 24 hours (or till all actions have been received). Days and nights end at 19:00 FR time. You may not post in the discussion thread during night hours
- Lockdown is 1 hour before the day ends. No new votes or vote changes will be allowed after that time. You may continue to post after lockdown is announced
- Once you see a Reserved post, all conversation must stop. That is for the end of the day and will signal an official phase change to night and means the mod is currently wrapping up and preparing stuff for the end of the day. You may begin to submit night actions even if you have not yet been pinged
- Mod’s word is final
- Don’t post in thread after you’re killed. The mod will send you the spectator chat link
- Fluff is fine but don’t overdo it
- Be polite. Aggressive is fine but there’s a fine line between aggressive and rude. Don’t cross it or else you will be instantly mod killed. I give one warning when you near it but after that, you’re out.
- No screenshots
- Include your favourite movie or play in your post to show you’ve read the rules and game information
- On Discord, you must use your FR name or some variation. If you must, create a nickname for yourself
- The mod can change rules as needed. They’ll alert everyone if they do
Game Information
- This is a closed set-up and non-rp mafia game
- This is a b*stard game. The mod can and will lie to you. In addition, roles can and will have mechanics unknown to you
- Mafia will win when the number of alive mafia aligned players is equal to the number of innocents alive
- Town wins when all the mafia aligned players are dead
- The mod has a role card and, thus, can be lynched and abilities can be used on them
- This game uses Discord. To use Discord, you do need to make an account. If you are unable to use Discord for any reason, please pm me and we will discuss a backup plan in case you get a role that requires Discord
