`Hmm..what time is it?` Eventide muttered to himself, then woke up instantly when finding out it was time to wake up. `Oh dear. I better not be late to anything!` He exclaimed to himself, sort of floating/walking out of his den. He looked around, seeing that others were awake. `Good morning everyone..` He murmured softly, but enough for the nearest dragon to hear. He was glad nobody ran from him in his new clan.

He then proceeded to sort of sit down (or look like it) on the ground, thinking of what the day would bring. Mysteries for him to solve? Or boring things? It better not be boring, that's for sure. He always liked adventure. It made him excited, except if it was like one of his sad mysteries, like the time he saw some disturbing stuff, then he would not be excited, that's for sure.

He decided to drift back to his den and grab an book, the book where he wrote down every clue from all his investigations and what happened and stuff. He studied each and every page thoroughly, for basically the fiftieth time. It may of seemed boring to read something that much times, but for him, it was like a new adventure all over again.

He studied every page, and finish yet again. Hm. What to do now? Maybe he should try eating something again and hope it doesn't go through him, though he was puzzled why he could touch and not go through stuff, but when he tried to eat or something, it would. Also, that would be sad for him, and probably disgusting for the watching dragons if they saw him trying.

He decided against it, and decided to think about his mother and the day he died. He lost everything..but that was in the past, wasn't it? It had been a long time since then.
A huge wave of emotion settled over him, and disappeared as quickly as it came. Sigh. What if it never happened and he stayed normal? Then this would of never happened, none of the things that happened now would be.
A question struck him. What would happen if he died twice? He hoped he would not disappear forever, that would be upsetting.

Viral's thoughts were cut short by Gibbous, the clan leader, who glided down from who knows where. He looked at the guardian like he had two heads (perhaps he was a bit sleepy after all) and simply nodded. He paused for a second and then returned the greeting.

A piercing shriek from above interrupted them "GOOD MORNING!" It was none other than the cartographer.

Gibbous aknowledged his presence with a nod while Viral squinted his eyes in irritation. He wasn't really used yet to have some loud clanmates, it reminded him of his old home. A few of them were getting up and crowding in the center, while others didn't arrive yet.

Viral faced Gibbous again and then spoke. "...Nothing of interest." "The usual. Got some huntin' done. Food's stacked in the hoard." he simply added.

"It was nothin', we all gotta help the community or whatever." Viral said before the guardian could even try to thank him. He paused for a bit, shifting uncomfortable in his paws. "...is that all?" he wanted to end the line of questioning and go his way but he felt obligated to answer it all at once.

Pouring a glass of tea, Yun-Jin continued to go through her paper work. Yes, even while traveling she was prepared to work, and try to get him to cooperate. Ji-Woon was stubborn and arrogant when it came to doing what the higher ups wanted, but if it was what they wanted, they'll get it. But for them, she was hoping they could work around and do something different while also keeping Ji-Woon's signature style.

"Look," She said, sighing. "I know you think I'm not listening, but I prefer trying to not lose everything we worked for."

She watched him and then back to her papers, slightly distracted by her painted claws. It was a new day, and if the company wanted new content, they'd get new content. Perhaps she could urge him out to get some inspiration, or to just listen to her and her choices. Yes, it wasn't what he wanted, but she was the one giving him a job.

"Maybe we should get out and see what this clan has to offer, there might be something that will peak your creativity... We can always scrap what I have so far and work together on this. You just need to try and make something.. different."

She grabbed the papers and documents and tidied them up, placing them in a bag she had and closing it. They'd just have to work on it some other time if he was going to be stubborn about it. It was usually like that with him, but she didn't mind it too much. She just hoped they could work in peace, and that it'd be sufficient for the studio.

Yun-Jin simply rolled her eyes at his sarcastic remark. She knew he’d be like this, but it wasn’t really something she could control. If they didn’t change his musical direction, they could lose their fame. While the thought of losing everything she built up ran through her mind, she continued to stay calm and get herself ready for the day.

By the time she was ready to leave, Ji-Woon was already out the door. At least he was ready to meet the others in the clan, or so she just assumed. He loved attention, and surely that’s what he was after. Looking one last time at the den, she turned out the door and followed behind Ji-Woon.

“Maybe you should talk to others here, learn about them.” She urged, hoping he’d get in a better mood after socializing. “Just… stay out of trouble. We really don’t need to get kicked out of here.”

While following him around, she noticed a variety of dragons, all unique in their own way. Surely they had something about them that’d spark interest in Ji-Woon. Something for him to do while she tried to relax. It wasn’t like the song had to be done ASAP. Perhaps she could find something to do here to pass the time, like finding new clothes or getting coffee. Anything was better than being cooped up in a den doing paper work, even though she really should be working.

Ganglion had returned to the clan after having dropped off his son at school. Sodom was staying over at Casnardis' place while Ganglion came to this clan to see if it was a nice place to stay with Sodom. He needed a more "friendlier" place for sodom to spend his time in, while his friends were nice to his son, Raiden's constant bursts of anger, Casnardis bringing in strangers every night and Dioramos' obsession with money was a bit too much for him. Ganglion felt like he should learn about why his friends are like that a bit later..

So, he was staying at this clan for a while. He didn't want to bring Sodom with him as he wasn't sure how others would react to him and if it was a safe place for his son. He'd come back every now and then to check up on him, to see if he wasn't feeling lonely and if Cas was being nice to him.

But without Sodom, Ganglion felt a bit lonely, he missed teaching him stuff and seeing him try to catch butterflies and other creatures. Ganglion decided to have a walk through the forest, maybe he'd find something nice to eat, he was up for anything whether it be fruit or meat.

Gibbous offered not a smile underneath his shadowy helmet at the good news, instead offering yet another nod once his gaze settled back onto the Gaoler. He was a little surprised by the pre-emptive response to his presumed thanks, however. "I see... That's good. I s'pose that's all I need to hear."

He continued on his path towards his home. His little Hoggy was probably expecting breakfast, and a treat for his own absence. After that, he supposed he could truly get to work in ensuring all was in order.

Pulling a slug from the ground with quite impressive precision, he soon reached his home. The largest abode in town (more due to him being the largest dragon than his leadership), it lied just a short walk away from the very center of town, with a quite heavy wooden door adorning the entrance. He pushed it open, and his beloved pet hedgehog ran up to him. He offered the slug, and trimmed a special flower bloom from a pot resting on the windowsill to offer alongside it. There were several identical plants beside that one, as he grew them for the little guy.

"There, friend. Enjoy it. Dad'll be working." After offering a claw to scratch his pet's chin, Gibbous swiftly exited, flying to the clan's food stores to check Viral's claim that they had been adequately stocked. They indeed had been, and Gibbous nodded in approval at the work. He snatched a stingray for himself, gulping it down in an instant.

(Haven't rp'd in years, sorry if I'm a bit rusty!!)

Agaric yawned and unfurled himself from the tight curl of his Blooming Strangler. Thankfully the fire magic within the creature was strong enough to keep him warm and prevent him from going into torpor, so he was free to visit other clans, not just Veilspun ones.

His ears perked up, and he heard the sounds of dragons chatting outside, ones much larger than him. He fluttered his wings, reassured that despite his size, he still had his magic to depend on. Agaric had heard of rumors of a killer in the clan, and decided to spend yesterday in his den, preparing all of the necessary potions for himself and others, healing salves and the like. But a quick scan over his table today and he realized that he had no more plants or materials to work with. Sighing, Agaric flew out of his den, searching for some flowers and herbs on the edge of the territory.

Locating a good patch outside, Agaric quickly got to work, but kept one ear open, listening to the conversations other dragons were having. In the middle of shoving a few last daisies into his pouch, he remembered that there was someone who called herself the hedge-witch or botanist in the clan. Maybe she had some insights that he didn't have, or some materials he could work with. Agaric wasn't too sure how willing she'd be to help, but he figured he would run into her eventually.

Shuffled notes written in strange languages lay strewn on the desk beneath Alice's head, a corner of a page fluttering in her slow, even breaths. A quill sat still in her unmoving claw, a half drawn symbol beneath its long dried tip. The combination of strange letters and symbols would to many be even less comprehensible than the arcane sigils scrawled on other nearby papers, and the accompanying notes in draconic common would make neither any the clearer.

A loud yell from outside shattered the silence. Alice's head shot up, her eyes darting across the room before her brain caught up. She sat there, blinking, and then shook her head. Someone had yelled good morning... that cartographer perhaps... She was sure his name had begun with V. She shook her head, and looked at her desk... She must have fallen asleep in the middle of writing down her observations about the area... What time had she even fallen asleep? She yawned... too late, clearly. She placed the quill back in its stand, and set about organising and filing her notes.

She knew her mentor, Zelenka, would say she should go out and talk to the other dragons... But people were confusing, and tiring. They had complicated whims and strange customs and reacted in strange unpredictable ways to simple words. Frankly, she'd much rather stay here and finish her notes on her observations so far... This location's code went back further than that of the clan, full of endings and new beginnings. There was something strange about this place.

She looked over her notes again, noticing some holes and missing information. There was information missing, she needed to research more to fill in her understanding... urg, fine, she'd go outside and risk talking to people, she couldn't finish her work without it. She tidied back her hair, picked up her notebook, and headed out the door.

My pencil is my wand, my imagination my magic. I spin worlds from words and planets from pencils, for I am a writer and an artist and above all a creator.

ey/em, FR+8,
After seeing the guardian's form walk away, Viral mentally sighed. Atleast today it was easy. He couldn't help but instinctly be on edge everytime he crossed an autoritive figure. Probably because he was really used to being in the other side of the law. Also, unlike his other clanmembers, Gibbous was the only one who was superior in size and strenght. Probably.

Viral was always aching for a fight, and even more with dragons that could be a match for him but he wasn't stupid. He knew that until he planned on how to find his old colleague, the one who pinned him down and made him exiled from his original group, he was like a dead dragon walking. With no particular route.

...Actually, that's not the full truth. He does have someone, very special to him, and that gives him strenght. Viral's dark life was saved thanks to this someone, and made him feel things that moved his wild heart.

The gaoler's thoughts fly and manifest his beloved. Yes...that presence is enough, he doesn't need to say words to make the other understand him.

Suddenly, Viral smiled one of his rare smiles, filled with affection. Perhaps one day they could travel together, if he were to ask personally.

The ex-bandit kept walking, reminiscing happy memories, not caring about any other presence, and went to the garden area. In there, he sat below a tree's shadow and closed his eyes, resting for a moment.

Viper should've gotten used to Rott's antics by now.
A las, he was not. He was used to living in clans where other dragons left him alone to do his things, and the most dangerous thing to bother him was a squirrel. Not in this one though, this one had Rott in it. He let out a shocked scream as he jumped to his feet, turning around to see Rott holding his tail with a smirk on his face. "You-!" it took a lot of self control to not say what he was thinking, as he was not thinking of nice words. Letting go of the breath he held, he took a second to calm his heart. "You're gonna kill me with these scares one day, y'know." he complained, but he couldn't stay mad at that face for long.

"Do you want to see what I'm working on?" He said, moving to the side. "I was just about to draw a beautiful portrait of yours on your den, but I guess now it has to be a silly one."
