[i]It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On day like this dragons should be out and about enjoying the day in all its glory. Which is exactly what you are doing. Taking in the glory of such a lovely day, you come across a beautiful clearing to take a small break. As you settle in, you release a sigh of happiness.
However, a shadow begins to cover the land. As you jump up in confusion, you look up to see this monster within the sky, and its...heading for the sun! The great beast opens it's jaws wide, and with a deafening snap, the sun is extinguished and the land is thrown into shadows.
You have a feeling you're about to have a bad time.[/i]

[center][i]This day has been so strange! What started off as a peaceful beginnings soon turned to The Worst, Most Despair-inducing Incident in the History of Dragonkind! Darkness had taken the land and the sun was nowhere to be in sight. Panic ensued, and every dragon, beastman, and hatchling alike prayed to the gods above for safety and guidance. Then, just when all Hope was lost, the clouds parted and the stars glittered across the midnight sky. The moon shined bright in all its omnipotent power and the world felt safe, at least for the night.
You let out a sigh of relief as moonlight blessed the land and all felt at ease.
But wait.
Something rumbled in the distance. A frantic search of your surroundings find nothing until once again the world is cloaked in pitch darkness. You look up as a creature, just as dark as the sky around it, opens its massive maw around the orb of the moon and comes closed with a deafening snap.
Darkness once again encompasses the land.
....All Hope truly is lost...
