Does Fern trust Andraste enough to just say, yh, go ahead? Does the need to return to her normal life outweigh the risk of lets say, possibly losing her arm?

She thinks about the chocolate cake awaiting her back in her cozy little home, and the choice is quickly made. "Sure, what could go wrong?"
Everything.

The question was, did Andy really know what she was doing? She found herself saying "Sure, what could go wrong?" The answer of course was... a lot. No sense in borrowing trouble though. Whatever happened, they'ed just have to deal with it.

Chimera looked at her arm.

The question was, did Andy really know what she was doing?

She found herself saying "Sure, what could go wrong?"

The answer of course was... a lot. No sense in borrowing trouble though. Whatever happened, they'ed just have to deal with it.
Intern? Dawntreader sputtered, his relief to see Andraste gone whens she started...acting like Andraste. Still, he sat quietly and handed the device over when prompted and when it was time to go he trotted along behind, just like a good little intern.

She fiddled about with her new toy, and the Pearlcatcher began to fidget, remembering the bomb and what she and Cat had said about 'insides ending up on outsides'. "Hey, um, I'd really like to go see this Enzul derg now, since we, you know, have some free time where we're not being chased by anybody and things aren't blowing up." He sat up straight and patted the satchel at his side. "I've got something to show him."

He left it at that. Something told him that Andraste wouldn't care much about a book. And Enzul might not either, but if they were really playing about with Second Age magic, then he wanted a professional. It was -his- arm, after all.

Her mind had never been so silent, her body had never moved this effortlessly, as if there wasn't even air resistance or gravity to fight through. As if she hadn't made the decision to move at all. She reached out a claw to rest on it's twelve-eyed face, but paused before she touched it. No. Couldn't risk damaging it. Couldn't risk scratching something so beautiful. But that was okay; now she was beautiful, maybe she could be complete and whole, too. For just one wonderful minute, there were no questions left to ask, they all seemed so trivial and meaningless. If she was in her right mind, that would have horrified her. But this revelation brought a sense of contentment with it. This. All her theories and studies paled in comparison to it. This was all she needed. The glow of the artifact transfixed her, and she willed all her being to glow back.

It was dark in there, and she had the impression no one had been through these chambers in quite some time. Strangely, though, she didn't feel like she was lost, as she could feel something guiding her deeper inside. It must have been the tattoo. Not only did it glow in the dark, but it felt like it was leading her towards something. Now she knew there was a reason it had opened the doors for her. She was supposed to be here. Gradually, the Tundra was overcome by an urge to go faster and faster. Something was calling her, and she wouldn't let anything get in her way. She had to find it, nothing else mattered now. And then at last, there it was, hidden by only a sheet of fabric. Manasurge quickly ripped it away to reveal a giant face. It was like a Centaur's face, but it had a dozen eyes made of gems. And they glowed. They glowed so beautifully. Manasurge had never seen anything so beautiful in her whole life. She stood there, glowing in the dark for who knows how long. She couldn't tear herself away from that statue, and any thoughts she might have had of getting rid of the tattoo had vanished completely...

He looked around desperately for something to delay the mirror. Was there anything within reach that he could use? He cursed the armband and the situation again. Would Cat do anything to help, considering that you'd be gone if you hadn't stayed to help?

Actually managing to put this thing together was really satisfying, and not so scary after all! Of course, it would be good to have that 3rd button hooked up, but still, 2 outta 3 aint bad right? Somehow all thoughts of finding Andy or Enzul have disappeared from Amara's head in a wave of self confidence. She doesn't even think about it and, working from the top of the device, presses the first button.

There were many artefacts kept down here, and while they looked around, Unknown started to feel a pull, somehow, his instincts told him where to go, and his tattoo started to pulse like a heartbeat as deeper as he went, which this time around, wasn't an unpleasant feeling, it was actually quite soothing. From having cautiously entered the facility, to walk around calmly, he found himself sprinting through the corridors and knocking artefacts over in his frantic dash. Gloomwillow followed closely behind him, asking him what the matter was, but he didn't seem to pay any attention to his friend's telepathic messages. Soon, he and Gloowillow reached an artefact covered by a paltry sheet. Unknown reached out his claw and pulled it off, and greeting him was a flat face that resembled a Dunhoof's face, but with the added difference that it had 12 glowing eyes staring back at him. He felt it somewhat jarring to look at, but at the same time, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever laid eyes on. For some reason, it felt familiar, for some reason, he felt a connection with it, for some reason, he almost felt like he wasn't a dragon... ? Wait, why did he think that? He had always felt like an outsider to his fellow dragons, never quite at home anywhere, always being the odd one out. He had only felt at home in a Library studying Arcane magic when he was little, but that feeling was soon gone when the others deemed him too obsessed with his studies... and the books no longer satisfied his curiosity. Suddenly, this face felt like an old friend, and this dark storage unit felt like home. He had come home. And so, he let go off his apprehension, the warmth of feeling at home overcame him, and then, he gently glowed backed at the face in front of him.
