It's also been mentioned how I even have a few similar personality traits to the famous detective. However it's also come to my attention that my name is an exact match to a[url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shylock] moneylender of a famous play[/url], written centuries before my apparent namesake Mr. Holmes." He replaces his glasses and smiles at you, crossing his arms. "However, however similar we may be, it's clear to me that I'm my own person--er, dragon. Mr. Holmes never took a mate, which I have, and Mr. Shylock's only link to me is in name. Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered to bring such literary legends to mind, but I feel I've grown beyond a simple reference as I've lived, my unique experiences and choices molding me into the drake that I am."

Bob - [The huge guardian glances at your direction, as if your question is barely worth the attention. After a moment he just shrugs and turns away and you swear the outlines of him get somehow... blurry as he moves. You blink and suddenly there is a black and purple spiral with thick glasses beside the dark giant. He looks at you and you know this one is called Steven even though you can't recall anyone telling you that. Steven smiles as he wraps himself into a nearby tree, blurring the same way the stoic giant seems to. He is still looking at you when he nods towards Bob and his smile shifts into a friendly smirk. And somehow - though you do not know why - you know the answer to your question. 'He didn't come up with a name so I did. His name is Bob that's what I decided to call him.']

(Also, a little extra side story, off-character: I play tabletop games and one of my characters is a shadow mage that is capable of summoning different kind of elementals. Basically spirits bound to their elements. Pretty soon I had a few main types to summon like the heavy hitter, the spy/scout, the clawer, the little nerd etc. My friend, another player, began coming up with names for the elementals as a joke and they kinda stuck. Bob was how she named the heavy hitter that my character summoned for most battles. Basically it was big and it was strong. Steven was the name of the tiny elemental that had dorky shadow glasses and was basically summoned to play cards/chess or aid in teaching after my character became a teacher. Bob and Steven are originally based on their elemental counterparts ;3)

I called a Harphy from the Underworld, but it turned out that individual was a real 'dog-lover' in her past life. So when she looked at my master she became reaaally hyped and tried to pet and give one of her bones to him, babbling instantly: "doggy, doggy!" It was... well quite hilarious.
