I love questionnaires!
1. Introduce yourself. Include nicknames, preferred pronouns, time zone, and when we can expect you to be most active.
My name's Kain, but on this site I don't mind going by Trick or any other variant of my username. He/They. EST -5. I expect to be most active between 4 and 11pm EST, as that's usually my after work time.
2. Mafia experience? Have you played with anyone here before?
The only other Mafia game I've ever played was the last Beginner Mafia on FR. I do have some experience with Werewolf and Bang! irl, though. I see some familiar faces here from the Beginner Game. Good to see you all again!
3. Are you happy with the role/alignment you got?
Yep. Then again, being newer, I'm just happy to get more experience so there isn't a role I would have been unhappy with.
4. what is your stance on D1 lynches and/or risking lynching a town role in order to expose the scum?
I'm not sure. I mean, from what I've heard, it's better to have a mislynch than no lynch? But I also haven't played enough to really establish a stance on this.
5. Your personal meta? How do you usually play and what can people expect from you?
Last game, I was pretty quiet at first but ramped up my activity and discussion when things got going. I'm going to try to change that this time and be interactive and around from day one. I don't think I really have an established "personal meta" yet, but maybe this game will help me figure out what that is.
6. What's your preferred method of scumhunting, and why?
r e a d
e v e r y t h i n g
Word choice is super important. Tone is super important. Reactions are super important. While I also enjoy looking at end of day results as evidence, from everything I've experienced so far, just watching for the tiny details is the best way to really find the scum.
7. What type of players do you find the most suspicious, and why?
Anyone on the extreme of a spectrum. Too argumentative, too loud, too quiet, too nice--Being any of these things isn't necessarily bad but there's a point where it can start to feel faked or overdone.
8. Optional crumbing space.

Hello! I'm Aviva. She/her. You can call me VivaFariy, Aviva, Viva, Fairy...I don't mind. Just remember - it's VivaFariy with the "i" AFTER the "r". Not spelled like a normal fairy. Don't misping me.
My time zone is FR+0. I am NEVER online from Friday evening to Saturday evening. No Saturday activity, except at night. I'm online at random hours.
2. Mafia experience? Have you played with anyone here before?
Ive played probably around 7-10 games at this point, planning my first one as mod, and I think I'm starting to feel experienced. I've played with 16 people here. So half of the group. To the rest of you - nice to meet you!
3. Are you happy with the role/alignment you got?
Yeah, it's okay. Not super exciting, but it'll be fun.
4. what is your stance on D1 lynches and/or risking lynching a town role in order to expose the scum?
I'm fine with D1 lynches as long as they arent random. I don't really like risking a town lynch to expose the scum.
5. Your personal meta? How do you usually play and what can people expect from you?
I think i mainly just try to help. I'm not a huge leader or someone who comes up with idea after idea. But I don't just sheep either. If people are discussing something, I try to help and provide input.
6. What's your preferred method of scumhunting, and why?
Paying attention to what people say and asking the questions casually. When we corner people and start arguing with them, they usually roleclaim or give up or lie and we don't really get much info.
7. What type of players do you find the most suspicious, and why?
Loud ones. Complainers. Or the opposite - inactive, sheepers. people who are quick to blame others or make excuses. People who avoid answering questions or contributing to discussion.
8. Optional crumbing space.

Until you test your wings, you'll never know how far you'll fly or how high you'll soar.
So spread your wings, it's time to fly. Make the leap, own the sky.
You may not know where you're going, and that's okay. As long as you spread your wings, the wind will carry you at least part of the way.
The time though is today.
It's time to fly.
She/Her, 18, INFJ, PST (FRT+0).
1. Introduce yourself. Include nicknames, preferred pronouns, time zone, and when we can expect you to be most active.Ping me as KathiraNarae, call me Kath. Or 'Supreme Overlord'. I'm female, but I'll take any pronouns you throw at me, probably because I'll usually use 'they/them' when referring to other people whose pronoun preferences aren't immediately accessible...which will happen a lot around D2, with enough activity. My time is FR+1, and I'll usually be around for about 3 hours per day since I have work, sleep, and family. On days off, I'll show up for a lot longer (incidentally, I'm back at work tomorrow).
2. Mafia experience? Have you played with anyone here before? I've played here a few times and there's a lot of people I recognise. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone enough to rely on their metae.
3. Are you happy with the role/alignment you got? It's okay. There are others I'd've preferred, but you take what you can get, right?
4. what is your stance on D1 lynches and/or risking lynching a town role in order to expose the scum? Town's only real weapon against Mafi is lynching, so we need to lynch hard and fast. Any day without a lynch is a free kill for Mafi. Risking lynching town is acceptable since, when they get exposed as town, you can look at who was pushing the hardest for them.
5. Your personal meta? How do you usually play and what can people expect from you? I tend to be an aggressive, leader type, sniffing out and leaping on tiny clues that are usually innocent. I'll probably try to be a bit quieter this time round, though, since it was that behaviour that got me killed last game - Mafi started actively pushing my lynch from late D1 and got fed up a few days later to do it themselves.
6. What's your preferred method of scumhunting, and why? Examine. Everything. Squint hard at every post everyone makes, and leap on it when something doesn't add up. If Maf, the sus person will end up making a Fawlty Towers Plot out of the lies and it'll be easy to lynch them.
7. What type of players do you find the most suspicious, and why? Players who try to look like their active but don't actually contribute, sorta like a politician. Also, players who consistently ignore another player's defense rather than actually rebutting it logically, as it means the defending player is likely actually being targeted by Mafi.
8. Optional crumbing space. I've got cookies and they fall apart easily.

Leremis, Ler, She/her but I'm cool with whatever. FR+2 and generally on in the evenings, though I can sometimes answer pings during the day.
2. Mafia experience? Have you played with anyone here before?
So many
3. Are you happy with the role/alignment you got?
Well it's better than the last game with this mod xD
4. what is your stance on D1 lynches and/or risking lynching a town role in order to expose the scum? Mixed. It's situational.
5. Your personal meta? How do you usually play and what can people expect from you?
I have a quieter disposition in general. When I have the time to be more active and say things, I most certainly do so. But I'm not aggressive with my points
that typically get ignored anyway. So, quieter but I'll definitely speak up if something seems fishy.
6. What's your preferred method of scumhunting, and why?
I like to sit back and cross examine things that are said and done.
7. What type of players do you find the most suspicious, and why?
Sheepers, the ones who post elsewhere and ignore the thread when they're being pinged, and the really aggressive people.
8. Optional crumbing space.

Journey know that I will try my hardest to be active this weekend, but I found out my boyfriend is a complete *** and will be breaking up this weekend, so it'll take a lot out of me. But I will do my very best to still contribute and be active.

I am 8uny, Any pronouns. I am EST, most active from 4-9, but I may try to reply on my phone during school hours.
2. Mafia experience? Have you played with anyone here before?
I have played two unfinished games, one normal mafia that had a 2 week long day one and then the mod went inactive and a rp mafia that died midway as well. I've also played the online Town of Salem, which is slightly different, but similar concept.
3. Are you happy with the role/alignment you got?
Yeah, I just get the feeling I'm going to die night one.
4. what is your stance on D1 lynches and/or risking lynching a town role in order to expose the scum?
D1 lynches are pretty much good 80% of the time. Even if you do lynch a townie, you can use those clues to figure out who is scum, and if you lynch a maf, well, nice! I would like to extend a small RIP to whoever gets lynched day one here
5. Your personal meta? How do you usually play and what can people expect from you?
As much as I hate it, I am kind of a lurker. I only really talk when something someone does sounds particularly scummy, and if someone else brings it up, i won't really say anything unless i have something to add.
6. What's your preferred method of scumhunting, and why?
I don't tend to trust whoevers being pointed at most at any moment as maf, because no one loves a bandwagon more then scum. Unless theres really good evidence, of course. Sheepers are definately the most scummy to me. Sheepers and people who avoid answering questions
7. What type of players do you find the most suspicious, and why?
Sheepers. See above.

8uny: Crumbing is dropping extremely subtle hints regarding what your role is. Extremely subtle. It's a mixed bag regarding whether or not to do this as, while it helps Townies who figure it out, it also helps Mafi who manage to figure it out.
