@squidragon Thanks so much for hosting this event! It's a shame my Pearlcatcher, Hunter, did so poorly, but at least Vincent made up for it somewhat. Ended up tenth place amongst the Guardians! "Enjoyed your little swim?" Vincent asked, chuckling. "Come on, the awards ceremony's starting soon. We should hurry." Hunter limped along, following the Guardian, as they went to rejoin the rest of Clan Twinstar, who had been watching the whole week's events with great interest. "Just answer me one thing," Vincent said to Hunter, as the awards were handed out and confetti fell through the air. "I've been wondering. Why did you decide to join me in this decathlon, anyway?" "I... I guess I couldn't let you hog all the glory for yourself, Vincent." "But why you? You never attend my training sessions. What made you think you could beat me?" Hunter slowly looked up at Vincent. "Because no one else would. I think they're all intimidated by you." "No need to be intimidated. All you need to do is work hard, and any dragon can become as strong as me. Well, almost any dragon." "Perhaps next time you'll remember that, Hunter," Vincent added, as he turned back towards his competitor. Hunter opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. Vincent was right- in his recklessness, he'd charged blindly into this decathlon, and had come out on bottom. "I... you're right," the Pearlcatcher said at last. "Hey, if they ever hold another decathlon, I'll be ready. Just you wait and see!" "Heh. I'll hold you to that, Hunter," Vincent replied, before turning away to follow the rest of Clan Twinstar back to their airship. As nice as it would be to return home, deep down, the Guardian was going to miss being back in the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Hunter would follow shortly thereafter, and before long, the airship slowly lifted itself off the ground and turned to head back home to the Starfall Isles.

Also lol I just noticed, Chlomaki was the worst Imperial.

Ah I'm so sad to see this is over! I lurked the entire time because I was late to everything my dragons did wow what a surprise me but I absolutely enjoyed paging through each event and reading it all! I always felt so excited o see how my dragons were doing and even if they didn't do that great I (and my clan's Queen) are so proud of how Aithne and Nightshade did! It gave me a lot of ideas for bio pieces to put in theirs later when I finally get to writing them, and my clan had so much fun spending time with its ally in Water and seeing several other members of the clan who are away from the main clan. Ack, I hope this happens again next year because I really want to have more of my dragons participate! :D

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this, it was so fantastic and I loved it so much! :D

More pings for you! This event was a lot of fun. :D Even though both my dragons ended up only 'oh-so-close' to winning some awards, the experience was great. I got to know plenty of the other dragons just from seeing them around, I got to read some awesome RPing, and I got to excitedly watch for the results every time!
