Rattle bounced along in his Halloween finery, pausing every so often to adjust his borrowed turban. His familiar Spook bounced right along beside him, every so often nudging him around fallen logs or stones that the blind Coatl could trip over. Nether hadn't thought it would be a good idea for Rattle to go off on his own but he wasn't alone! He had Spook after all! And he had been SUPER excited to learn what trick or treating was! Stumbling to a halt in front of the lair entrance that Spook told him was there, Rattle paused a moment to let the full of his costume be noticed, (his best friend had worked really hard on it and he wished everyone to see how great it was!) then whipped out a Halloween themed satchel and a sign that said, TRICK-OR-TREAT, SMELL MY FEET, PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY SPOOK TO EAT. Poor Rattle, he didn't know that was what it said, Jackie must have gotten to it.
The male red-winged owlcat displays vibrant red plumage across its wings. The female is much plainer, but much more deadly for its camouflage.
