TOPIC | "Worst" named dragon above you
@Risper
(Haha, well, she's named Blight because she's paired with Corprus and I'm a Morrowind fanatic :D I understand it probably sounds weird to you, though.)
@Lavinia
(First of all, thanks for complimenting my other names! And she's actually a character dragon named after a sword, so... yeah :D)

Ok can I just say I adore your naming scheme; mine is pretty much super random but yours is so well thought-out. :>

I realize Astarte is probably meant to be pronounced with the stress on the second syllable, but I still just can't help but think "a**-tart."

The thing about Etihw is that I have no clue how her name is supposed to be pronounced...

I am nerd trash and had to make a game reference with Etihw and Kcalb. "Etihw" is supposed to be pronounced like "Eh-ti-oo" though I tend to make it two syllables instead of three. "Eh-tyu"? Something like that. Sounds a bit French.

Ahaha, game references are the best! I figured it was something like that. What game? (Kcalb would've been my next choice for this forum game. XD )

It's called the Gray Garden and it's a Japanese RPGMaker game translated by vgperson. You can get it here! Etihw and Kcalb are two of the game's "deities" of sorts and they're pretty important characters as the story goes on, which is always nice! They also happen to be my two favourites so I figured that I might as well dedicate a couple of pretty dragons to them! The backwards name thing is pretty standard for the game itself, so you'll see things like Etihw, Kcalb, Wodahs, Emalf, and so on.

All these pretty names, vaguely fantasyesque even if they're real words (Mnemosyne is lovely), and then... Captain.
