Astraeus his father has a tidbit of lore.
Styx is his mother and only really has a personality log.

This gal parents have pretty long and thorough lore about how they both came to rule a vast kingdom and fell in love. Her father was pretty arrogant in his youth and a lover of luxury so I think it would make sense that this pearlcatcher winds up being a little similar.
