I usually put my babies on the AH for the first 24h on a "high price" (between 15-20k) in case someone really likes them. It's not profitable for people wanting to train to exalt (because they are still babies and will take them several days to grow up) and are "high price". After that I just put them for adoption.
I rarely sell any though.
