I agree that the male pose is prettier. However, I don't mind the female form nearly as much as say male Snappers or male Pearlcatchers. It's just a slight preference.

I'm very fond of the female coatl pose myself. Might be because the overall sprite kind of brings the body and wings closer, giving a certain square-ish shape. I like the resulting displays of genes and apparel in a kind of tight space.
