It was so hard to pick my favourites ;-; Virgil is wearing the first skin I absolutely fell in love with (SS-Lion Roaring by Spassow). I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to get my hands on a copy but thankfully I did! As a priest of the light, I think it suits the noble persona he puts on for the people of his city. I haven't really got much lore for her yet but I can see her being a magician or alchemist entranced by the natural beauty of the world, which I think goes well with the mix of organic and geometric ornamentation of this skin. Unlike the others, I had her in mind immediately when I ordered it. Alesinde is something of a mythological figure within the lore of Kjallabai. She has prophetic dreams and a strange connection to the old city and its sleeping magic, and I think this skin perfectly highlights that archetype. I bought this Skin: Look Alive, Sunshine a while ago, but I never had a dragon in mind but I needed a spruce/orange (preferably Sunshine to match the skin name) and, I actually somehow got it a couple months later? Like with Genevieve above, I kinda buy skins and then hope one day I get a dragon to match.. and that's pretty much what happened here! I got pinged for Skin: zenzenzense and immediately fell in love with the bright coloring and song reference! Unfortunately, I just, never managed to scatter a cyan dragon for it, but someone listed a beautiful Cobalt/Cobalt and I bought them so quickly, I was super excited because I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them! I was never super happy with him so I kept scattering him and I got a ridiculous Shamrock/Shamrock XXY, and.. I was kinda tempted to keep scattering. Fortunately, the pretty tert saved him the trouble and I ended up needing to get him a custom because his type of deep green UMA's are a hard find!

It didn't win for Nature fest but it was so perfect and I needed it. It was hard to choose who to give it to, but Tatters won. Tatters' charge is to collect small, lost fragments of objects such as fabric and paper scraps, threads, lost beads and buttons, and shards of pottery and glass. If she finds something that has been torn up, she'll painstakingly piece it back together. I love the plants and bones mixed together. Fennel studies the wasp species of Sornieth, since only a few of its possibly thousands of species are described so far. Ve grows flowering plants to attract wasps and leaves out treats of old fruit and meat for ves insect friends. Ve also loves apple cider and helps make it every year, after giving some apples to ves wasp friends first.
