LETS GOOOOOOO Alright heres the gist I give all my dragons 'birthplaces'. or hatchplaces? idk man and i wanna give ur dragon one as well :) (including a few sentences to jumpstart lore writing!) excuse my spelling mistakes and grammar errors. option number 1 (and probs the more obvious choice lol), the Worldedge Wetlands!
maybe he traveled and found home and familiarity among the swamps of the wind flight?

or maybe he felt suffocated in the Shrieking Wilds, and found solace and open air in his current home

oooh i love both those ideas ^^ honestly i think i could even combine them..he was hatched in the Worldedge Wetlands but his family soon relocated to the Shrieking Wilds where he felt less at home and that drove him to explore what else was out there!

i love his gene combo!!

i see that he is a proud second generation from, as you said, the hewn city. His mother shared a nest in the earth flight with his father, phonoi. With niether of his parents being of the earth flight, I decided to go with:

where perhaps your dragons seeks to protect the merchants and researches alike as his grandparents did, bringing light and safety to the Colonnades of Antiquity.
or maybe he is trying to go on a new path seperate from his genealogy, finding growth among the cities patrons.

or maybe not! perhaps he searches for beasts and whispers of the shade in the darkest corners of the

ooooo her glowing eyes are almost as cool as her name

perhaps:

this reactor had to do something with her current state, including her ability to possess entense and great magic (hence the Mushelisk subspecies)

or:

maybe her egg was left in a tangle of supercharged wires, nestled and forgotten and when she popped out, boom! supercharged glowing eye baby!
