Dragon Share

[center]So for a fun little project I'm doing, I'd love to have some dragons from other lairs befriend this guy. He's a famous clay painter, and he'd love some new buddies! If you want to, you can also share some lore about your dragon or even write a little snippet of story of the two interacting. I may feature it in his bio if I really like it; I'll make sure to credit you for it. I'll go through this thread and give out stars (if I haven't already), and your dragon will be added to Kaolin's bio as one of his friends. ^^ I can't wait to see who you share![/center]

First one I thought of was Gaius, my clan's geologist and Earth rep: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/36350787][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/363508/36350787_350.png[/img][/url] He's the friendliest dude you'll ever meet, and he's super excited about rocks, minerals, clay, and dirt. Kaolin will learn about the types of clay he paints with and their geological history... whether he wants to or not. Gaius would bring him odd clay he finds just to see what he does with it; Kaolin might appreciate clay in a different way, but Gaius would be overjoyed to meet someone who appreciates it just as much as he does. This big chatty snapper also tends to get in his own head a lot and bury hiself under a mountain of academic analysis. Kaolin would be good for Gaius; sometimes art is the best way to stop endlessly analyzing something and just appreciate the beauty that made you fall in love with it in the first place.

Mayhaps Dust would be a good friend for Kaolin? [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/76771958][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/767720/76771958_350.png[/img][/url] He's a famous writer (at least in the Windswept Plateau), and he loves to help others with any sort of project they might have! He's chock full of ideas, and was really interested in painting, but he found writing was more his style. Perhaps Dust would write a story for Kaolin to base a clay painting on, and throw ideas his way if he ever gets artist's block! If only I had more time, then I would definitely write a story with them-

Kaolins lovely! I've booped the like ^D^ I'm always a fan of an earthy themed dragon ^.^ Wren is always happy to be friends with everyone! He makes perfumes and incense that he then sells at the Colonnades of Antiquity so perhaps they first met there? Wren is blind, so perhaps he likes to listen to Kaolin describing his paintings and his thought processes behind each one ^.^ [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/65515788][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/655158/65515788_350.png[/img][/url] And maybe a snippet of them interacting? Wren paused in his organising as he heard the steps approaching his stall, the vials of scent clinking together as he turned to face the direction of the noise. That was the sound of two legs and not four, but the tread was too heavy to be that of a longneck. A banescale perhaps? "Can I help you at all? I'm still setting up at the moment, but if you have any questions I'd be happy to help!" There was a rustling from the direction of Wrens incense sticks. Like the dragon had lead forward onto the stall. The smell of jasmine briefly mingling with the hints of rich clay and lichen already in the air. Lichen? A shadow dragon then. Maybe one with an interest in pottery of some sort? A laugh then, warm, inviting and above all familiar. "Have you forgotten already? I promised to tell you about my latest project the next time I was passing through Dragonhome." Wren felt a smile begin to spread across his face, thrilled. No matter how long it had been, listening to a friend tell their stories was always welcome. "Kaolin! It's been too long! Come, tell me everything. There's still time before the Colonnades get busy. Let us find a quiet corner and you can tell me all about it!"

Ohhh, everyone's dragons are so great! They are perfect friends for Kaolin and I enjoyed reading about them. Everyone did such a nice job on their dragons to make them look nice. ^^ I'll start giving stars and adding them to Kaolin's bio now.

She’s a blind archaeologist, exploring the history of Sornieth through touch and texture. She’s always happy to talk about history, mystery, art and rocks! Definitely a fun friend for Arlo digs, and she has some stories about places that would make incredible paintings!
