I haven't tried this in a half second, but let's see if my post doesn't glitch and go into the wrong thread this time.
This is Optimus, he was actually one of the first of my progen kids, it was pure luck that he was born with primal eyes! His many eyes allow him to see many different futures of his clan, and he helps direct his clanmates to the most desirable futures. He's a bookworm, even if he does have serious problems with reading.

And here is his familiar, a Paradise Zalis named Prism. This bird is unique in that she is able to read and repeat the words she sees! She is sentient for the most part, able to speak in broken sentences. Her voice sounds a bit like siri but even more tonally flat.
